Some people back up all the time- You're smart, very good. The rest of us have lame excuses; time, capacity, cost... Just stop get this little drive. The amount of work, valuable photos, videos that you lost or will lose is not a matter of "if" its a matter of "when" Cost? You bought a computer so boo on cost. Time; use the backup feature or just select folders and copy to the drive, go shower or eat, or sleep, when you come back - boom. Capacity? more than enough.

It works perfectly and it never crashes. This is my second Toshiba Canvio and I would definitely recommend it !

Had problems with WD external hd. Crashed and WD was 0 help. The Toshiba was highly recommended and I have bought two additional drives since this purchase.

This is a very well designed hard drive with a large amount of storage. The instructions and support through the internet are a great addition to this product.

After filling up 2 Toshiba Canvio Connect I 1TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives since 2013, I decided to stay with this company and purchase latest model. Hard drive comes formatted for Windows, but contains software on the hard drive to use with Mac. Personally, I reformatted for Mac and use MacDrive on my Windows computers. This hard drive is compact, dependable, rugged, and quick.

Definitely worth it. Bored it instantly up with my mac and it really started working on all devices. Definitely an easy and cheap solution to memory needs.

I'm a middle school teacher and grad student. It helps me keep up with important files and documents. Simple and easy to use. A must have for an occupation.

I bought this for my mom so she did not have to have several cards to store all of her pictures and it can hold up to a million this is the best thing ever

Was very surprised at how easy It was to transfer documents on this brand I've had others that you had to download a program just to transfer documents ..

Use it to expand my Xbox one memory. Just plugged it in and it does the rest.

Included USB cable is to short, I use a notebook computer and need about 1 foot longer cable. I have two of these drives and use one to keep 'portable applications' on it and run from this drive keeping programs off my computer hard drive BUT mainly to use on multiple computers. I can just plug this little drive in any computer to use my programs and open just as I left them on a different computer. The second drive I use as a back up drive. works great.

I wanted to have a back up of windows 10 , and found this item very useful. I created a partition, so I could save all other files in that partition.

The first thing you need to do is format it to get all the junk software off of it. After that it is exactly a hard drive. Nothing more, nothing less

So easy to set up and use. As with any full back up it can take a long time but this seemed to go quicker. Light and easy to carry around if needed.

I am concerned that my older computer will not continue to function well so this item has given me peace of mind. The transfer of info is very easy.

The new design is well worth the cost of this product. Super light weight, easy to transport, and connecting to other devices is self explanatory.

Never knew that this devices could hold this much data. Downloading was a breeze. I have recommended to others who struggle to download.

This drive is an outstanding value. The USB 3.0 connection means that files can be backed up in a much shorter period of time. I recommend it highly.

It was exactly what I needed. I loaded up all my movies and music. Take it with me on trips with the kids. Attach it to my tablet and we are awesome.
