Great back-up hard drive!

I picked up this backup hard drive so she could free up extra room on her computer, and she has been very happy with it so far.

Good reliable hard drive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought quite a few of these and the hold up very well.Transfering large files takes a while but I have had no problems using them and it finds the files pretty quickly.The transfer rate is most likely because I am using USB 2.0.

If your Toshiba sounds Broken...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Make sure you plug this into your computer through a direct USB Port, or if you use a USB Hub, not to overtax the hub with too many devices attached. If your Toshiba drive makes a slow clicking metallic noise, that's what the issue is. It happened to me with a brand new drive and I did research online and found the remedy and now it works fine.

Toshiba - 1TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive

I had two other external hard drives fail on me as well as the hard drive on my laptop. I got this one to back up my laptop while the geek squad was working on it. I don't know how long this one will last because I just got it, but so far, so good.
