Not a bad hard drive, because it loads rather quickly, which is great. I was slightly disappointed, because I don't know how to use the hard drive for both MAC and PC. Tried to look it up online, but no help. If someone know how, comment with a link? It does work for either MAC or PC, but idk how to use it for both.

I just opened my mailing package from BestBuy.com containing the Toshiba 1 TB drive that I ordered online. Someone in quality control or order returns needs to be fired! The drive inside the new looking package is far from new. The plastic bag containing the usb cable has been torn open. The Toshiba drive inside the clear plastic tray (that covers front and back of the drive) has visible "dust" on it (no I'm not kidding). When I took it out of the plastic tray, the top of the black drive has so many scratches on it that it was not hard to tell this was a used drive that someone returned as new. The rubber feet on the bottom are also worn down. Where is the quality control, Best Buy? I am so disappointed that you sent out a product that was obviously returned by a previous customer and it was not checked out before it was sent to a customer who paid for a "new" drive.

I needed to backup lots of pictures and other material on my PC. This hard drive not only meets my current needs but provides sufficient additional space for the foreseeable future at a reasonable cost.

Bought this on sale to work as my external storage for the xboxone. No problems thus far. Great value for the price.

Excellent product to save data and pictures on my computer. After my husband did a factory reinstall and lost EVERYTHING on my computer, I purchased this product so that problem will never happen again.

This is the second Toshiba external hard drive that I have purchased. Quick installation and use. Small enough so does not clutter area where I am working and is a convenient size to transport.

This External Hard Drive works great for my purposes. I just wanted something I could put my most important information on (tax info, bank info,etc and pictures etc) and then put it in the fire proof, flood proof safe as a back up incase of a disaster. Well I was able to do exactly that with this drive and I even had some information on a PC (everything else was Mac) and it handled that too. I would definitely recommend it worked great for me!

Toshiba is a trustable brand , that's one of the reason I chose it, after review other customers review , I believe I make a right decision .

I bought this harddrive for my 3d class I was worried at first since I've heard Toshiba hasn't been putting out great merchandise lately but so far I am extremely happy with this purchase

Use for Apple Time Machine. Plenty fast and takes up next to no space in your bag or on your desk.

I used the Geek Squad for reference to get the computer that fit my needs. This all-in-one is perfect for me. No tower, wireless mouse and keyboard and a super easy touch screen to use.

Love purchasing from best buy. They always direct me to exactly what I need so I can get in and get out quickly. They are very knowledgeable about their products so that helps greatly :)

I bought this on a whim to transfer photos from an old laptop. It works just as you would expect, flawless. This is a good quality item for the price you pay at Best Buy.

This seems to be a nice external drive, work well for backups, seems fast enough using USB 3, but also works fine with USB 2 ports. Has an LED to indicate HD activity.

It was good for what I could afford and needed at the time. Gave me room on my Xbox one and Xbox seems to Load faster.

I was taken in by a scam and everyone at Best Buy were very nice and very helpful to get my computer back up and running, I was told what I would need and I got it.

not much to say about a storage device, as long as it works. I have no problems with this Toshiba 1T. The price was great, and I'd buy it again if need be.

I bought this on sale and it was a great price for this size hard drive. Have not had a chance to use it yet but I am sure it will perform as it should.
