Im not so used to Toshiba hard drives but it was definitely worth the by for the size and its price. The data transfer seems fairly quick and very portable

i was looking to buy two 500gb hard drives (wanted to separate pictures and important stuff from music and others) and all the good ones where priced around $50 so i decided to go ahead and buy the toshiba 1tb with my new toshiba radius laptop, since it was about the same price as a 500gb. i am definitely satisfied with my purchase and planning to get an other one for my mother in law, she has like 2 bilion pictures of our kids she sure need space somewhere lol

I was using a different brand of portable hard drive before I bought this Toshiba Canvio Connect ll at Best Buy. The other brand seemed to have nothing but problems since I went to Windows 10. That is, my computer's hard drive seemed to "crash" on a regular basis. After trying every remedy I could think of, including software updates to Windows 10 compatible, etc., I finally changed my back-up portable drive from the other brand to this one and no more crashes! Knock on wood that that continues! It has been five weeks w/o crashing so..... my fingers are crossed.

Needed to get a HD and this was perfect!!! Nice size with a ton of space at a great price. I would suggest this for anyone who is looking for extra storage.

This is such and easy to use portable back up that gives you piece of mind. I've had other brands that were very difficult to use and required a lot of manual intervention. You didn't know with others if you had successfully saved your data. With the Toshiba Canvio Connect II you easily can see your data and restore files rapidly. There is no guessing that your back up is up to date.

Great price for a quality 1 TB drive. It was fast and feels like great quality.

I use these drives in PC's and in Mac's. They have fast data transfer because of the USB 3.0 throughput and make great drives for backing up. I usually use these for full drive cloning and backups of large outlook data files. I don't really use the software that comes with it because I have my own.

This is a small easy to carry drive with enough space for pics, music, etc.

I purchased this drive primarily to back up files on my desktop. It works very well for that purpose. Windows 8.1 recognized the drive as soon as I plugged it into my computer. I did not install the software that came with the drive. I used the windows backup file to backup my computer. So far, so good.

Lots of Storage Capacity for future. Easy to install, copy files and restore.
