Easy to use. I bought this to get the info from my old laptop the mother board is going out on. Entire transfer took very little time. Set everything up and walked away till it was done.

I am using the drive not as a backup drive but to archive files. Therefore, I don't know whether the backup software works well or not. For my purpose, it's plug and play, straightforward copy from one drive to this drive. I did not even pay attention to speed. I just let it run. For how I use it, perfect, no problem at all.

I purchased this product to use with my Xbox1. You just plug it in, click format for game storage and you are ready to go. I think it works better than the Xbox hsrdvdrive.

This hard drive is easy to use, small and compact for easy portability. I like that it works with Apple or PC computers, and easily loads the same files to either computer.

I got this product on sale and the price was too good to pass up. Would definitely reccomend though. Awesome product.

Warning to advanced users: don't buy it expecting to pop the drive out of the case and shove it in a laptop- this thing has a USB port right on the drive. If you are actually using it for what it says on the box, it works great! Interestingly, the light on the top lights up blue when connected to a USB 3 port, and white when connected to a USB 2 port. Lets me know when I accidentally plug the thing into the wrong slot on my laptop- a nice touch that no other drive I've seen has.

Bought two of these hard drives, one for the wife's computer and the other for the xbox one. Both work great and do exactly what I wanted them to. Would buy again

Has been working great so far. Came with back up software (NTI) preinstalled and works with both USB 3 and USB 2. It has a little light/led circle that lights up and flickers when backing up- blue when connected to a USB 3 port and white if to a USB 2. Nice small size (aprox. 4"5/16 x 3"1/16 x 3/4") so really portable if needed, probably would even fit into a largish pocket. The little HDD to USB connection cable is only 18" long so the drive has to stay fairly close to the PC but this has not been a problem. Very happy with it so far, especially fot the sale price @ the time.

My husband and I got this mainly to store all of our computer games. At first we were having some conectivity problems but you just need to be sure nothing is touching it and the cables are securely attached. We love using it. It works for our needs. We think it's a pretty good deal too.

I got the storage unit for my xbox one because thee 5500 gb had ran out. It works great and it was seemless just plug and play. the price isnt bad either.

I am an IT Managing Director for a manufacturing company in north Texas. Purchased this drive to use a dedicated data backup for my office/work files and keep offsite. Connected the USB 3.0 drive to a USB 3.0 Dell Precision laptop and it just hums. Very good performance. Will think about purchasing a second for a few low end servers.
