It took less than 15 minutes to set up and begin backing up my computer. The interface is user friendly. It's slightly big compared to similar products.

I got this for backing up my NAS. It is serving its purpose. The one drawback was the write speed. At 5400, it takes time to write to it. Of course, I knew this. This is my short term investment. Once the SSDs prices drop down to reasonable levels, i plan to upgrade it.

this external hard is very easy to connect and set up. the backup can be done as often as you choose. it is an excellent choice and reasonably priced.

Needs to be installed on a Mac to use however works great with PC as well as Mac. Small size easy to carry.

I compared the Toshiba Canvio to a Seagate model and went with the Canvio. It has a good backup app included and is quiet and fast.

This has been a good portable drive. I reformatted the drive for use on a mac, and it has been working great as a backup drive.
