Many liked the original film, but I'm all for the new. Graphic details is much better, non stop action. Kate Beckinsale is a PLUS!

The first total recall was good, but this was great. I love this remake and would recommend this. Ovie to everyone

It's not as good as the original but it a pretty good watch. You get a lot for a little.

I bought this in bluray because I wanted to see the environment of the story in detail. They did a really nice job and I'm sure a DVD wouldn't do it justice.

No interesting characters to speak of. Needed (more) humor. Colin Farrell is solid but shows little personality or charisma; not sure if it was his acting or weak writing for the character (my guess is both). Beckinsale is adequate, I suppose, but is just going through the motions of a female action villain; Biel, like usual, just takes up space. Bryan Cranston really tries to elevate his character, but fails due to a weak script with weak story and characterizations.

A special effects heavy remake of an already good movie that came out years ago with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I liked Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale in this movie, Bryan Cranston was good, and the plot holds well on ideas- if you haven't seen either movie, give both a shot, but I preferred the original over this one.

I have seen the original "Total Recall" with Arnold S. & that was more Sci-Fi & futuristic than this movie, I tried to like this remake but found it not very futuristic... set in Chinatown with flying cars & a hand phone as technology.....disappointed in this remake.

I purchased this disc to check my 4K player and TV. With quite some efforts, I'm able to have it displayed in 4K but it seems no better than 1080p. Bestbuy should clarify what does "Mastered in 4K" mean.

I always buy the Bluray that comes with a digital version. Total Recall is the first Bluray I've bought with an Ultraviolet only copy(streaming). I, like most people have Netflix for streaming. I pay for digital copies to watch when I don't have a connection. Sony's tactic here is going to make me less likely to buy movies with digital copies, and less satisfied with my purchase! Why pay more when I can't download it to my devices!

It was always gonna be hard to top the original but modernizing the classic just didn't work too much for this version.

The original was one of my favorite movies of it's time. I thought this one was actually a step down from the original. Which is pretty amazing considering how long ago the original was made.
