First of all,this is a review for the blu ray copy that comes with the release.I don't have 4k but this price point to get the blu ray with it was too good to pass up.The blu ray is of high quality and since the last time I saw Total Recall was on VHS,this looked amazing.Also I really enjoyed the special features especially the on rise and fall of Carolco Pictures

There's no point in reviewing the film. It's well known and an enjoyable sci-fi movie featuring Schwarzenegger, Michael Ironside, and Rachel Ticotin. A lot of the stylized violence you find in Paul Verhoeven pictures. This new restoration is pretty good. There is some things to criticize, but its the best the film has looked. For the price, it's a confident buy.

This 4k version of the film is breathtaking and awesome in details. This is one of my favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger films. I own two different earlier versions of this film and this one is the best.

Total Recall looks amazing in 4K. If you have it on DVD or Blu-ray it's definitely worth upgrading to 4K, and if you don't have it at all you should definitely pick it up. Highly recommend.

This is excellent packaging with a handy plastic sleeve for those sensitive to keeping their steelbooks pristine - and a price that makes the splurge to steelbook seem much easier to stomach. And the movie holds up!

Great movie, saw it when it came out on big screen, much better than the remake. having my own copy means I can see it anytime without relying on a streaming service, well worth the price

The art on the steelbook is great. The 4k transfer is great. Of all the extras with it, Total Excess: How Carolco Changed Hollywood is the most interesting one for me, a documentary on the rise and fall of Carolco.

One of my favorite Arnie and sci fi movies. Steelbook is absolutely beautiful. Best Buy again nailed the shipping on this one. Their shipping of steelbooks can be a bit rough on occasion

A great Arnie movie. I watched this for the first time in theatres when I was a kid. I have a greater appreciation for it now. Get the 4K upgrade.

One of the best sci-fi movies ever made. The Terminator, Conan, Total Recall and The Predator are my favorite Arnold films. And the steel book is stunning.

The 1990 original version of Total Recall still trumps the more recent remake with Colin Farrell. The special effects are animatronics and still hold up and make you appreciate the tech better than C G I does. There are action scenes aplenty and very good model work throughout. The steelbox ensures that your blu-ray will probably outlast you! Extras include a making of featurette, models and skeletons, trailer and photo gallery. To enjoy your Arnold-fest on the go there is an Ultraviolet copy as well!

Great movie, great 4k restoration. A must have for any fans if the movie, steelebook is a great addition to my collection. Love that it comes in a slip cover, like my Evil Dead 4k steelebook. Definitely recommend.

I picked this up when it was first released. I saw that they had this on sale during Black Friday and I had to pick it up for my sister for Christmas. Couldn’t beat the price either!

Best Buy’s black friday has gone insane on 4k movies with this amazing deal, plenty of other titles on sale as well. Get em before they go dry

The 1990 Total Recall is a sci-fi masterpiece! This new 4K was approved by the director and looks amazing. Sound mix is solid and the story is still lots of fun. Was it all a dream or was Quad really there!

Great movie, really nice to watch in 4k, some definite improvements in color contrast and seems to have fixed some dark areas i noticed in early releases of this movie.

Total Recall, the original, is a classic member of the campy late-80's action adventure genre. From the over-the top Ahhhnold Schwarzenegger action sequences to the fan-favorite villains like Ronnie Cox and Michael Ironside, TR still stands as a fun way to pass a few hours. Don't take it too seriously, even the pseudo-science gets a few things wrong, but after all, it's just a fantasy...isn't it? The new forgettable version with Colin whatshisname doesn't hold a candle to this.

I remember as a kid watching this in the theaters .I Always enjoyed sci-fi especially with action and comedy. Glad this came out in 4k :)

One of the great films linking the 80’s into the inevitable evolution of action films in the 90’s - Total Recall is superb: accept no substitute. The new Steelbook edition is clean with a wonderful artistic expression of the characters and landscape. The upgrade in quality is also a welcome one.

Was skeptical if the 4 k was gonna be a better picture but i was surprised to say its one of the better re masters i have seen . Great classic movie looks even better in 4 k !!
