Works for my computers and Television.

I had purchased the 5 year warranty plan with the tv and when it wouldn't turn on the Geek Squad staff came out and tried to fix it, but it wasn't fixable. My warranty kicked in and the Geek Squad guys came out and took the old tv and installed my new Samsung tv.

Tech Service

One above the fireplace and the other in the bedroom. The technicians made sure we felt comfortable with the height and made professional recommendations. We’ve also had our desktop computers serviced. Make sure they restore everything back. Once our office suite disappeared.

Don’t Leave Store Without

Saving on installs, free check ups on all my tech, Discounts on services. If you have a family and everyone has a laptop, phone, TV and more you would completely benefit from this and definitely save money. Keep everything running smoothly by dropping off your digital device at Best Buy and they will give it a tune.

Could be better but it is worth it

I like the improvement, like the added 2 yr purchase protection, I still wish the antivirus was a little more premium and they still did not send me to the manufacturer first when I have a defective product but I guess you can get everything; so it is 4 stars from me. It comes in handy when needed. so it is okay by me.

It's getting resolved even they call me when the call drop. I received the service a few years ago while out of the states. It was helpful. Pandemic time, they had been busy, but I found the others ours to reach them. One time I had to go to the store, they helped me to get an appointment.

Best tech service out there.

I use this service for all the above for free for computer and auto install or a discount for appliance installation. Can't beat it anywhere for this service. Alone can cost just as much as the total tech support service itself for 1 item.

I am purchasing a new Mac and have two Macs that are over 13 years older (one of which won’t even power on) and they will transfer all of the stored data that I haven’t been able to get into for years. I have also used the service for my phone. The service is good for any tech support in your household.

Pays for itself

I do not have to worry as I can go to Best Buy with all of my repair/maintenance needs. I love having Geek Squad on call and the expert set-up, installation, follow-on maintenance or replace at a one-stop shop (Best Buy!). I have saved money and not had to worry.

Piece of Mind!

Having a Contract with them when ever problems arise with my computers know they can solve my problems quickly. Many locations even in Hawaii.

It also came in handy when having a remote care starter installed. My next move is to have my new tv hung above the fireplace and with the total tech support there is a discount for this services as well. I keep finding new ways to utilize my total tech support. Highly recommend.

One of our children has a habit of having "mysterious" issues with their laptop. Best Buy has taken care of everything, quickly and completely. With all of the tech in our household (2 desktops, 6 laptops, plus other assorted tech) this is an investment that pays off.

I am a total NON-GEEK and can rarely get things to work! My computer is pretty old, but serves me well, so I don't really want to invest in a new one yet. I have had to bring it in twice this year to clear viruses it picked up, I also plan to buy a new television soon, and will probably have them come to set it up.

Pricey

However, it does seem to take much longer to get connected with an online agent and getting the work done. Once connected though we have been pleased with the work they do and the detailed notes they leave afterwards. Since it became "Total Tech Support" we don't feel it is nearly as good a deal for us because it is very pricey when you are only using it for one computer and have no other need for the service.

Member Discounts on Installations are a Great Deal

We purchased a new home and had decided to expand our smart home features. After purchasing a aRing doorbell, a Nest thermostat, and wall mounts for two tvs, was time to hire installers. Through this service, we took advantage of the member rates and saved soooooo much money. Plus, internet protection as a bonus.

Great in some cases and not great in others
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a reasonably good plan except when I had to make an appointment for one of your techs to adjust the time on my Fitbit which I bought from you. They couldn't give me an appointment for 2 days. I thought that was awful service. It would have taken that tech about 1-2 minutes but he would not do it that day and said to come back. I live 30 minutes away so it's not that simple especially with Covid, etc.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Lenovo Yoga laptop on Black Friday last year and paid one year tech support at that time(and repeatedly confirmed with the sales that only one year of technical support was purchased, !no further purchase for another year) . As a result, when I checked my credit card today(after one year), I found that I had spent $190 for no reason. which made me think that my credit card was stolen, and I cancelled my account in time this morning.but I still try recalling for a long time, I guessed whether it was the charge deducted by Best Buy. Before I found out that the bank statement was deducted, I did not receive any call, message or email notification from Best BUY. If I hadn’t found the bill by accident, I would still be unaware. Because one year has passed, I was shocked that the fee was automatically deducted without any notice! What is even more annoying is that I went to the best buy store to ask. The customer service was very arrogant. Without any explanation reason, just gave me a call to solve it by myself. I called and be told that the fee would be refunded, but I don’t know when it will be refunded to the account, my family and me bought many things in Best Buy, but I was very disappointed with the behavior of best BUy this time. Hope you refund my 190dollars soon. Thanks.

Used the service now for several years. Never a single questionable visit. Good explanations by people who care. In 2019, had a problem with my Verizon phone while over a hundred miles from home. Went to closest Best Buy who sent us to the Samsung service center within 2 hours things were back up and good.
