I have nothing but praise for Total Tech support. I have utilized their services several times,and always with good results. The Geek Squad people I have worked with have been super competent and knowledgeable even to spending more time on a situation than I expected. At one point I had an iPad/computer problem that neither Apple nor a highly regarded and recommended tech repair person could solve. The Apple Genius bar gave up and gave me two online sources suggesting that I try to fix it. I then did what should have been done at the outset and and brought it and another involved device into Best Buy. The tech who waited on me spent 45-60 minutes and had both devices up and running. It was very complex but he knew what yo do Cost? $00. The Total Tech people have been to the house for TV, Ring iand more. Money well spent.

My latest experience was good & not-so-good. Gabriel was wonderfully business-friendly. He did a bunch of stuff on my new laptop including installing the game Ark: Survivor Evolved, which was my one reason for buying the machine. He spent a considerable amount of time with me, answering questions and making sure everything was on the new machine (the anti-virus, etc). But, when he left, it wasn't finished. I finished them because I can. I'm not sure the next person could. Windows wasn't fully updated and a bunch of drivers were still needed. Also, we thought the printer was working when he left because we were able to print out a test page. Unfortunately, the only thing we can get it to print is a test page - test pages - several of them. Nothing we send to the printer actually prints. We don't know why it prints the test pages, we are not asking for them. I will call as soon as I'm finished fixing the identity theft we have going on. :( We don't want Gabriel to get into trouble over this, just make sure he's actually done before he leaves.

This is an easy one: Get it. Not only have we bought all of our major appliances from Best Buy but we increasingly buy our Apple products from Best Buy as well because of Geek Squad support. And this is even though our technology is all Apple and Best Buy has yet to have a regularly available Apple products guru.
We use both the ability to make appointments for a technician to come to our home and for us to go to the store with some problem.
A couple of success stories: Our network failed repeatedly even with Spectrum technicians saying they fixed the problem. But the Geek Squad technician fixed our network by suggesting a different solution than Spectrum. It worked so well we have no more problems.
Recently an appliance technician showed us a feature on our refrigerator that has saved us all kinds of problems with our freezer. He was worth his weight in gems!
Here's the thing we like best: Geek Squad technicians always--yes, always--explains how we might get better use out of that computer or appliance. Yes, sometimes we spend money--on their recommendation. But no regrets here. All fixes have worked and ended any further need for assistance.

I love my support team. I like that all my devices are being serviced and protected in the same place. I will not buy any tech from any other store. Their Teck support is amazing, They have so much patience and walk you through any difficulty. Thanks, tech support you are amazing.

when you have this yearly tech support, it really saves you alot of time for the tech person we have is ryan Kennedy.
he goes above and beyond . he answers all question no matter how sometimes is simple to him is difficult for us.

We are retirees and the Geek squad is a blessing. I would give every one of them a raise if I could and they all deserve one. Everyone that has installed a tv, router or other electronic equipment for us has been very professional, courteous and helpful. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate having the GEEK SQUAD.

It's rare that I can say that my money was well spent, but it was well spent on Total Tech Support membership. My daughter in grad school could use it, and I could use it with mine. Since she has many technical questions and sometimes problems in order to get her grad school work done, it was a relief that she had a friendly, knowledgeable staff to assist her. As a senior citizen for whom technology is sometimes frustrating, it has been wonderful to have a dependable, friendly, and efficient pre-paid help center so I didn't have to worry about what it might cost to get a question answered or something fixed. When purchasing a new dishwasher, washer and dryer, and several tv's, I was pleasantly surprised to see the helpful Total Tech member discounts on extended warranties and the waiver of delivery fees on some products. I was also happy with the Total Tech discount on the purchase of Office 365 that was available when I purchased Total Tech service and when I renewed at the end of the year. Having used a small, independent computer repair company several years ago and being discouraged by both how long it took and how much it cost, my experience with Best Buy's Total Tech membership has been far better in every way. I highly recommend it.

We renew this Total Tech Support every year. It is worth every dollar. Although, I am comfortable with computers and technology (spent my career at IBM), technology innovations can race by faster than I can keep up. When I have a question, need someone to see what I have done wrong, or figure out a software function frustrating me to death, I can go make an appointment, go to the Geek Squad desk and there is no charge. We buy our computers, our TVs, and other items from Best Buy. The prices are competitive, the warranties are excellent, and we can get help for any of them.
When we buy new computers, they do the complete transfer of data from our old and the complete setup for the new computer in a matter of days. We have never had an issue or problem with this process and it saves me a lot of headache, with the new products and their installation. Gives us peace of mind and excellent services.
This pays for itself and you get excellent support, people who can explain in the level of knowledge you have the issue, and will come to your house, if need be. No charges.

I was apprehensive about buying the Tech Support Package when I bought my laptop because I never purchase these types of plans. But, the salesperson gave such a great presentation, which I respected, so I decided to give it a shot.
Wow, they were right. I have gotten so much use out of my Total Tech Support Membership it is almost embarrassing. They are only one phone call away when you are having a computer crisis or you just need your computer scanned for viruses. They also can help with so many other things like appliances. The other thing is that every encounter I have had with a Tech Support member has been so positive. They are always so kind, helpful, polite as well as being extremely knowledgeable. The only issue I have run into is having a problem that they can't fix over the phone and being told to go into the store. It has been an update issue from the day I purchased the computer from Best Buy and now with COVID it seems crazy to have to pay $50 to pay someone to come to my house (and socially distance) to fix it. Maybe there should be some extenuating circumstances house calls.

Total Tech Support is so easy to use and well worth the price. I have used the chat, had them virtually connect to my computer to install items and even had them come out to create a type of network that works for us. One stop shopping and very helpful!

My protection plan has been very effective. It recently caught a serious breach before it happened. It's been easy to use, mostly running in the background. It's cheaper and better than the other two big name programs. It was easy to install and went right to work.

Had problems with our new LG soundbar. Brought it in to Best Buy, Spanish Springs and they shipped it to LG where it was repaired. Great to not have to send it back ourselves.
We were impressed with Jeff from the Geek Squad. He called to make an appointment with us to pickup the sound bar and explain what problems LG had found. Thank you! We were impressed with how much Jeff enjoys his job and the customers he helps.
We have purchased numerous products from Best Buy in the last year and have been impressed with everyone who has helped us. If they can't answer a question we have about a product they do the research to find an answer or find someone who knows a little more about the product than they do. The amount of knowledge every associate has about products is impressive.
We have found that if Best Buy does not have a product in stock they can usually order it. We have been able to purchase some up-scale or unusual items this way. The price is always competitive. Great place to shop for appliances and electronics!!! To make things even better, there is a Geek Squad to help us when needed.

I've had total tech for the past 3 years. The staff at the store has always been very helpful in resolving any computer problems. I learned that I can have a tech come to my house to help with with tech problems during my visit to buy a new TV. The tech visits were great and helped me with a headphone setup that I was unable to figure out by myself. This tech was Sebastian. Then a few days late Tuula came out to my house to help me maximize my internet set up. Tuula was also very helpful and gave me some good ideas to make internet reception better at my house. Thank you to both of these of these knowledgeable persons. Being able to have this service really covers the cost of my total tech geek squad subscription.

This is the best tech support I've ever seen. Prompt action, courteous and knowledgeable techs Even in these difficult times my call was answered quickly and if the initial tech cannot completely solve your problem they quickly get you in touch with a level 2 tech. This tech completely scans and gets rid of all malware and possible viruses that may be on your computer. We have a desk top computer, 2 lap tops, an 2 i-pads and 2 cell phones; all of which are serviced through my plan. They even helped me reset my google mini home when I moved and had to change the wi-fi network. Can't say enough good things about these techs. Last item I had to clean out was my desk top which they did (since this one took over an hour to clean);they did it overnight so I wouldn't be without it during the day. Best dollar for dollar purchase I've made. Strongly suggest you get it.
