That said, this number can't be used to verify credit accounts with Bank of America or Capital One. Is it their fault? Is it Tracfon's fault? I don't know.

2G Talk & Text plan

Figuring out how to set up a temporary phone with this plan was a big fat hassle. I would have preferred to spend less, but this was the cheapest option that I could be sure would cover the bases for a few days. It worked as expected, so I would grudgingly recommend it.

Don't use TracFone

Had to purchase another identical plan from their website to use the phone. With horrible coverage I ended up throwing the phone away after 2 weeks
