This card allows me to purchase talk/online minutes at about $0.20/minute, but since texts only use about a 3rd of a minute, I get 3 texts for under $0.20. I don't use my phone for talking too much, but I do use the texts and free Wi-Fi access, so I can stretch the minutes on this card as far as 2 months. As-is, the cost-per-minute isn't a great deal, but my personal TracFone came with automatic "triple minutes for life" which makes this phone card one of the better values for me (also, the more face-value minutes purchased on a card, the better the value). I do recommend buying a "double-minutes" card, at least, to make this $39.99/200 min. card a better value (if your phone isn't already connected to a double- or triple-minutes promotion). Aside from all that, the product is satisfactory overall; the card has a unique code on it that I easily enter into my phone, and I get instant talk/text/data time. My one complaint is as follows: I can purchase the card online, but have to drive to the store and wait at the counter, just to get that code; I would think the code could be purchased digitally online, just as you could purchase and download software immediately. Picking up a cardboard card in-store seems kind of antiquated. Also, I have never noticed the TracFone minutes to go on sale, BUT I am allowed to earn Rewards credit when I purchase them, and can use my Rewards earnings to purchase more; I recommend getting a Best Buy Rewards Card to make your phone-minutes purchases an even better deal (it was one of the reasons I chose a TracFone).

Would prefer that these go on sale from time to time - but that's Tracfone. Overall a good cellphone program for our needs.

This works great for me, just pop in and back out in 2 min. the cards are right at the front of the store for easy access.

I have been using the Tracfone service for approximately one month. So far, I have been very happy with the service. This service replaced a plan I had with a major carrier that I used for over 10 years (contract has expired). Since I am a low to moderate user, my old plan was not cost effective. After researching and purchasing a Tracfone LG840G phone which offered triple minutes for its lifetime, this is very cost effective for my usage. Unused minutes rollover once a new card is purchased and activated before the service expiration date shown on the phone. For the low/moderate user of a cell phone, this service is hard to beat.

With my double minutes plan, plus a bonus code from TracFone, my cost per minute is about 8 cents. Hard to beat that. Also, unused minutes roll over to the next time period whenever you add new minutes.

TracFone is a good option for people who use wifi and text, but don't make a lot of voice calls. Seeing as how the minutes cards are the same price everywhere, I get them at Best Buy to earn rewards points.

Very easy to apply and use. Tracfone support is solid though not always available 24/7. Very good program for phone users who focus on communication with people as their primary usage. A winner all in all.

Minute cards are the only way for talk, text & data. I save hundreds to a couple thousand dollars compared with 5 of my friends.

Purchased this card to use on a phone that doubles the minutes purchased. 400 minutes for this price is great! And a great way to add up more Best Buy Reward points.

what can I say really , I have triple minutes for life so this card goes a long way for me , but you won't find me staring at my phone like a Zombie either.
