Traeger has always been the best brand out there. And the new Ironwood XL does not disappoint. I previously had the Ironwood 885 and this is definitely worth the upgrade. If your able to upgrade it’s definitely worth it.

This the best Traeger grill I’ve ever owned The touch screen makes everything so easy The recipes u can pull up in the screen are very useful Finally the guide of the right temps to cook different meats is also helpful

We used our new grill for the first time yesterday. It did a great job cooking our ribs. We love it.

I use the Traeger all year long. At least twice a week! It’s made slow cooking easier on weekday!

 My wife and I have been looking to replace our pellet grill. We found love with a Traeger that we saw at Home Depot but they didn’t have the model we wanted. Just searching around Best Buy app to my surprise Best Buy sells outdoor gear including pellet grills, and they had them all I wanted. Best Buy never disappoints with their inventory and of course Traeger is the name of the game when it comes to grills.

Great grill, big and consistent cooks. Less than a month of ownership and it stopped working. 28 days to be precise. Traegers website says it's a grill lid sensor and I have to remove parts and the hopper? After a month? Na... will return thank god I have the 2 month return option, This may be Best Buy's fault, they use a crappy third party to assemble grills and they're about as smart as a box of rocks. They delivered my grill with no manuals, instructions, troubleshooting paperwork or warranty cards. Basically no paperwork that came with the grill was given to me and also they attached the ash can backwards. I fixed that as it was obvious. Do not trust Best Buy to assemble anything at all, they're grossly incompetent, and I'm sure their bad assembly is to blame for the failure

I recently upgraded to the Ironwood XL from the Pro 780. The Pro 780 could do it all… smoke, grill, sear. The Irowood dissapoints at higher temperatures. It is more of an oven that smokes than a grill. Of ypu are only going to use it for smoking, it does well. I waisted my money on this.

Alright so this is my first review I’ve written and my first Traeger. I’ll start with saying I’ve used a Weber Smokey mountain smoker for that past decade. It’s delivered great smoked meals over its time. I decided to go with a new smoker this year because I was wanting to simplify my life with a set it and forget it approach to smoking. I’ve been for traditional smoking for a while now, but was tired of the clean up and difficulties of maintaining temps in the colder months in Ohio. I decided on the traeger ironwood xl because of the cooking space, and the double insulation. My first go at using it was just seasoning it, which was a breeze. Then I cooked two turkeys side by side for thanksgiving. These turned out amazing and delivered non stop compliments from the family. The process of turning on the smoker was simple and fast. Maintained temperature in colder weather very well and clean up was the easiest I’ve had in years. As far as smoke flavor, it deliver a mild to medium smokiness. Overall amazing purchase and couldn’t be happier!

Expensive but worth if you want great large quality grill to cook with the family and easy to use. Note- the accessiores are over priced and with most of the grills accessiores do not come with the grill.
