Great product but has trouble connecting sometimes

Great product works as advertised the only complaint I have is the app can be buggy and finicky. Also needs better instructions to better illustrate the extension of the charging dock. Some customers may not figure out that the dock needs to be next to the probe while cooking to extend the range.

should be a requirement for smoking meats works great!

Fantastic cooking essential, works perfectly and even gives you time remaining on your cook. I wish I would have bought the four pack.

This was a bit of an impulse buy, so i really havent messed with it too much, but i find it to be a little glitchy and the signal drops off quite a bit. Kind of a bummer for the price.

The Meater+ is an excellent addition to your grilling arsenal. The probe syncs with your phone and or your tablet for clear and easy readings. So far its worked flawlessly with a boston butt & a turkey in the smoker.

Buy something else. There are SO MANY connectivity and battery issues. I had a normal MEATER and that had issues, so I bought the Plus. Both are terrible. I really want to like these as I grill all the time. Best Buy said it was out of warranty just 6 months in. Best Buy customer service wasn't helpful, and this product isn't worth your time.

This Meater Plus Thermometer is a very handy item it is wireless and works great it has internal temp and ambient temp.I really like it

Got this as a gift for my brother for Xmas and he was very excited. Connects to his phone and no longer needs to get up in the middle of the game to check his meat!

I bought this to use with my Traeger grille about 20ft away. Sadly, the bluetooth connection between the phone/block/probe continuously drops. The "Meater Link" option for WIFI extends to 33ft, per the app. That's just not sufficient range. I had higher hopes but I'm going to return the product. On the positive, the app is intuitive and nice user experience.

I have a Traeger grill with a wired thermometer that doesn't seem to read accurately. This tool is a game changer, and it's wireless. Also, it's handy for use for cooking meat in the oven.

Loses connection a lot. If I had to do it over again I would pass on MEATER and use a less expensive probe.

This is one of the best meat probes I have ever had. I tried a lot of different thermometers, And this one so far is the best yet. And the best part is there are no wires to mess with.

Best thermometer I have used. No wires that crimp and give inaccurate temps. Perhaps the upgraded model for longer distances but it was good

Excellent product, works as advertised, excellent phone app as well. Must have for the oven, pellet grill or smoker.

Temperature readings are way off. There are 2 temp sensors one at the tip of the probe for internal meat temp and the other in the probe handle for ambient temp (around the meat when in the grill). When the probe is outside one would expect that both readings show approx air temperature. The internal temp probe shows 70 degrees fahrenheit but the ambient shows 336 F (I don’t live on mars !). Now when i put the probe in the meat and insert it into the grill, the app goes into an overheat warming mode (which is triggered above an erroneous 527 F ambient temp reading). The whole device is unusable since the warning screen persists (even when bringing the grill temp down to 200 F). Opened a support ticket and all i got was some training viedos on internal grill micro temp fluctuations. Nice marketing material and gimicky videos but the basics dont work.
