Cult classic

Others see it as a druggie movie glamorizing the drug life. It has very graphic and sometimes gross portrayals and would not recommend to anyone that is not really mature.

Telling the story of Mark Renton and his friends' attempts to quit heroin the story evolves into much more. Danny Boyle's direction is flawless and the soundtrack complements the vivid images, producing some extremely memorable sequences. Trainspotting should be on everyone's "To See" list.

One of the best films of the 90s!

Director Danny Boyle is able to captivate audiences while showing the characters doing despicable things. Incredible soundtrack and visually phenomenal. Next to "Sunshine", this is Boyle's best! Ewan McGregor is also amazing.
