Another successful add to the Transformers series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy the Transformers movies for what they deliver - high octane action and special effects, and while I think Shia was good in the earlier movies, I agree it was time to move on and Mark Wahlberg fits in well as the new lead. I missed it in the theaters so I definitely wanted to check it out on Blu-Ray once it was released, and having volume control helps as well.

Michael Bay. Nuff Said.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another standard installment into the 'splosionfest that is Michael Bay movies. I was told to not expect much and held to that, but actually thought the movie was ok. Not plot heavy, but that's not what you're signing on for when you go to see a Transformers movie. You are out to see giant robots bash each other to bits. This movie satisfies that desire just fine.

Great Blu-Ray presentation, flawed movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You know what you are getting here - it's Michael Bay, so there are lots of big action sequences and light on story and character development. It's a movie about giant transforming robots. With that in mind, it is passable as a summer blockbuster, even though it is way too long. As for the picture and sound, I'd rate it a 5 if this was all you were werelooking at.

4th movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed watching the 4th movie in the Transformers franchise. My only beef is that the director did not record a commentary to go alongside the film itself. There is a separate disc off Special Features, but no commentary. Every film should have a commentary, simply for the historical value to future generations of movie lovers. The technology is there, people.

BEST TRANSFORMERS YET!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually know that when the critics destroy a movie I end up liking it! And that's the case here! Most of the written reviews and my fiends reports were pretty bad for the film, but I really enjoyed it! Yes - its far fetched - but it was FUN! Loved the effects and was glad to see new characters (human) move the story forward. And the steel book case has an amazing cover photo! AWESOME!

More than meets the eye!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Transformers series. Great movie, just as good as the previous three. Looking forward to the next movie in this saga. I do want to say, be aware that this movie is not a continuation of 'Dark Side of the Moon'. It is set closely into the future and seems to now focus on the origins of the Transformers themselves. I enjoyed the storyline and eagerly await how the saga unfolds.

So-so movie...excellent 3D!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have seen one TRANSFORMERS movie, then this is pretty much more of the same. These are summer popcorn movies, and it works well as that. It is EXTREMELY long however. The 3D is excellent, with medium to strong pop and depth. The image switches formats from scope to IMAX frequently throughout and it works great. Adding impact to the 3D image when it does.

Great Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed this movie. It had a lot of action and a good story line. I love that this movie had new actors and the parts they played. It is a long movie but the pace and story of the movie did not make it seem that long. It also had great special effects that worked well with the story line. In my opinion this one ranks among the best in the series. I hope they keep it going.

Surprisingly Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit hesitant on this movie being good or not mainly because I think Shia LeBouf does an excellent job in the first 3 films. But, it is Transformers, and I surprisingly thought it turned out to be a good flick. The 3rd one is still the worst in my opinion. They should have kept Meagan Fox as the blonde chic is just annoying but that's in my opinion.

Great collector's item
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the series itself is a bit of a guilty pleasure, this 4th movie is a step up from the last one. A bit long in parts, but adding some great lore to the series. The steel has some beautiful artwork that evokes the hectic tone of the film. A must-have for any Transformers fan!

Dinobots & Steelbook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The film was longer than the previous movies and Shia was missing made it feel like a reboot of sorts. Michael Bay gets a lot of hate for his movies but I enjoy the action and special effects. My favorite part was seeing the Dinobots for the 1st time on the big screen. Also bought this at Best Buy because it was a steelbook. Hoping that Best Buy gets more steelbooks in the future!

better than before
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't care what movie reviewers say, as far as I'm concerned, the first three transformers movies were lacking(even though I enjoyed them) compared to age of extinction. To tell you how much I like it, It was showing on sat tv and I watched it even though I just bought it.

Good Transformer movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the 4th installment of the Bay's Transformers movie. This is good, but not the greatest. I feel Michael Bay should have followed the 80's cartoon series and put that on the big screen. Like always Bay doesn't listen and does things his way. This would have got a 5 star, but I feel Bay is slowly killing a childhood characters.

Loved it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've heard bad reviews about this movie but I disagree, I had a good time watching it just like all of the others. I never expected any of these movies to blow my mind, I expected to simply enjoy them and I did. I can't wait to see what they do with the next one (come on, we all know there has to be a dinobot focus, loved them!) Like I said, I loved it

Essentially Two Movies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fourth film in the Transformers franchise has a bit of a tonal conflict between the first two thirds and the final third of the film. In fact, the first two thirds of the film form an entertaining film that could have ended with a large battle in Chicago...except then we'd miss Optimus Prime riding a Dinobot and there needed to be a lot more of that.

Awesome Steelbook Packaging
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Transformers Age of Extinction is a great installment to this movie franchise. It has great visual and special effects. It also has a really good cast. I highly recommend the Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook Packaging. It has a great picture of Optimus Prime on the front cover of the Steelbook and it also has some great special features for the movie as well. A BIG THUMBS UP !!!

Really enjoyed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoyed the movie, and the 3D is a amazing. Yea the movie is a bit silly, but it's a Michael Bay movie about alien robots fighting on Earth...I don't know what people are expecting from that other than just entertainment via huge explosions and great action scenes. And if you have a 3D tv, this is def a movie for showing it off. This movie just looks HUGE in the 3D.

Explosions, Action and.... Boring plot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie starts with lots of action and explosions but quickly becomes very repetitive and boring. There are lots of distracting moments with continuity errors and other times where it simply makes no sense. Still the transformers fighting and the new dinobots makes for a pretty fun movie even though it doesn't need to be almost 3 hours long.

A fun movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed this Transformers movie more than the last. It was a fun adventure with giant robots that turn into vehicles. That's always a good time. There was lots of explosions, chases, and destruction. The one things I didn't enjoy was the language. It was a little more than I was comfortable with for my kids. I won't let them watch this one yet.
