Transformers has a few small flaws but its a ton of fun! The CGI characters look amazing and thanks to a descent job of acting by the cast it easy to forgot that the Prime and the gang aren't really there. The movie is non stop action from begining to end. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time the first time i sat through the film. The movie managed to be just as exciting the second and third times i viewed the film. This movie is a must own for any movie buff and no matter what price you pay for the dvd its a bargain!

This movie is definitely a classic from its action, humor, and some morals. I LOVED the "orchistration" soundtrack! All movies don't have to have blood and guts, and this movie is one without! Didgital image generation was very good, but the action is a little hard to keep up with on a regular dvd with regular frame rates. Very interesting story. It was pretty basic and yet kept some of us guessing. Acting, music, story, effects were all very good! I hear they are working on making a second one and can not wait!

This is like one of the most anticipated DVD's this years, Transformers is a feast for the eyes. This two-disc set has everything that a die hard Transformers wants and newbies new to this amazing, spectualar film can learn from in depth commentary by acclaimed director Michael Bay to featurettes on the visual and special effects. Although, I been waiting for this DVD to finally come out since its release in July, trust me, it's well worth the wait. DON'T JUST SIT THERE, MAN. PREODRDER NO BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

This is a great movie and I knew it would be amazing if it came out on blu-ray and it finally did. It really looks great. I already owned the dvd but this really is a must have on blu-ray. I highly recommend it. The one thing that I was not really happy about was that they really did not add any more special features when compared to the 2 disc dvd version. Yes there is a few things but not a lot. However do not get my wrong the special features on here are great and are some of the best I have seen.

Transformers was basically all that I could have asked it to be. This was a great CGI-action movie that most fans of the original cartoon series should appreciate. There's plenty of action, mostly involving Decepticon vs Autobot fighting scenes, a very attractive actress in a leading role, and rumors abound of a sequel, possibly headlined by Starscream and a revived Megatron(possibly in another form.) Highly recommended to action/sci-fi/original Transformers fans, and to many others. Great watch.

Amazing movie!!! It is really well done and has flawless cgi. The actors pull strong performances in both the action and comedic scenes (excluding magen fox but trust me it works). Plus all the action is real (for the most part), minus the transformers. Also the special features for this movie are great. It shows in-depth just how they were able to make this movie and it makes one appreciate it that much more. This movie is by far my favorite movie of all time. Definitely a must have movie!!!!

If this isn't the most anticipated dvd of the year, it is definitley in the top 5! I saw it two times in the movie theater and it was definitely worth every penny! The 2 disc special edition will be an awesome addition to anyone's dvd collection so order it today!! It is also the best man vs robot movie I've ever seen and it will open the door for all tv show and video game based movies to come!

my husband wanted me to go with him to this movie, i was reluctant, since i dont like these type of movies usually, but i was very suprised how this movie kept you interested in what was going to happen next. i would suggest this movie to all. the graphics were excellent and a lot of detail went into this movie. the best part was how my husband new all the names of all the transformers just like it was yesterday when he used to read these comics, and he's almost 50. enjoy the movie, we did.

great movie and a good job of the way it was done and it's nice to share my old shows now maid into movies with son. i love the fact that i'm a dad now and i can share in the delight of my old tv shows i loved now made in to a movie. plus now with computers their are little draw backs in makeing a movie come to life but there still the story line. but the push and draw of making GM the main ad push was a let down because they should leave the ad parts out but it was a still a good movie.

As a girl, I didn't expect to like this movie very much. I went with a group of guy friends for something to do, and I ended up enthralled the entire time. I love this movie! Yes, it is action packed and follows the Transformers cartoon, but there is so much more! The humor is great and the story is just very well written! Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox are great for the parts of Sam and and Mikaela. Whether, you're a girl or guy, you won't be disappointed with this movie!!

I love this movie, so do my 2 boys (5 & 9). So it's a great family movie. The plot is pretty good. The special fx are 2nd to none. Michael Bay did not disapoint. The audio is great, the sound of they make transforming reminds me of a kid watching the cartoon. Same goes for Optimus Prime's voice... Peter Cullen. Has enough witty humor to tie in with all the action. A lot of modern technologies implemented like eBay & cell phones. Can't wait for the sequal in June!!

IF you grew up in the 80's, someone you knew had all the Transformers. This movie was like reliving a little bit of your childhood. If the Transformers are new to you, you will be glad to admit that you watched the movie. The movie is fast paced and has something for everyone. The guys love it because of the cars and action. Kids like it because it's just cool and women like it because there is that underlying love story and Bumblebee is just soo darn cute!!

When I heard they were making a live action movie I was I was excited but at the same time a little weary. Especially when I heard Micheal Bay (i.e. Pearl Harbor)was directing it. Boy was I wrong. This movie was amazing despite some inconsistencies with the original series. It made any guy, who remembers watching Transformers after school and saving up your money to buy your favorite Autobots and/or Decepticons, proud. Can't wait for the sequel

This is my favorite movie of the year thus far. I don't go to movie theaters, so it was worth the wait to watch on blu ray in my home theater. Yes, the Transformers lose some of originality of the first one, but that did not diminish the movies in my eyes like a lot of the bad reviews I read when it came to cinemaplexes. I loved the comedy aspect, but could do without the annoying parents. Megan Fox is smoking on blu ray also.

This Movie is the BEST MOVIE EVER!!! If you want to see the Ultimate War between the human race and machines, THIS MOVIE WILL BLOW YOU AWAY!!! I saw it 3 times in theaters. That should tell you right there that this Movie is sure to raise the bar. Strap yourself in for the fight of your life because this is one fight you are NOT gonna want to miss.

This was an awesome movie. There were nice cars, great special effects, lots of action, all with a hint of a romantic comedy. If you like any or all of those then this movie is for you. My favorite movies are The Matrix and Tombstone and this movie falls right along in line with them as far as how much I liked it. I loved transformers as a kid and they really did good with the movie to how it use to be from a cartoon. Just incredible.

I didn't think I'd like this movie at all. I held off seeing it because I thought it would be just another 'guy' movie; all action. This movie has good humor and the story is well-written. This was one of the most fun movies I saw all summer. The very definition of a summer blockbuster. Definitely worth buying, as you'll want to watch it again and again. The special effects are top notch, and the Transformers themselves are just great. Shia LeBouf is brilliant as Sam Witwickey. He keeps the laughs coming throughout the movie, even while the action is rolling in the background. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

I was extremly wary about this movie when I heard they were creating it. After watching it though, I don't think it could be done any better. The story line and action in this film are just about the best you can get with a film based on a cartoon and action figures. The cast was excellent. They couldn't have choosen any better actors than who they picked. Very well layed out plot, combined with the best CGI I have ever seen.

But it's got Optimus Prime's original voice, and the voice of Agent Smith as Megatron!! How can it fail??? The movie as a whole could've been much better, I feel that for a movie based on giant robots that transform into cars, they sure spent an awful lot of time detailing the life of the puny humans that were trying to help the robots. That's not fair. When the robots were there it was pretty cool, but it did get boring.
