I saw this the night it came out, then saw it again 3 days later. I LOVED this film, and will have the special edition in my hands on October 16! If you haven't seen this yet, you really missed out, because seeing it in the theater was a great way to see it, because of the sound. I was afraid they would ruin one of my favorite cartoons as a child, but they didn't!

I couldnt wait for this movie to be released in theatres and i will be one of the first to purchase it tomorrow! if you grew up watching Transformers, like I did, check this movie out. the action is unbelievable! its intense. this movie will make you laugh, make you cry, its got it all. check it out, because this was one of the best movies released recently.

At first i was skeptical because at first look it appeared to be a childs movie from the 15second trailers that i saw on tv. However when i watched the move i was amazed, HOW COULD THEY HIDE SUCH A GREAT MOVIE WITH SUCH BAD ADVERTISING? If you dont take my word that it is one of the best movies, it was voted best movie of the year in the MTV Movie Awards.

After the middling success of The Island, Michael Bay tackled a risk, bringing us Transformers. Based off the toys created by Hasbro, Transformers is a jaw dropping action spectacle, filled with out of this world special effects and amazing sequences of action. The Bluray is loaded with special features, making it a must own.

i saw this movie in the theatre and am waiting anxiously for the release of the dvd. as a 57 yr old male i expected a movie geared towards children but was i ever surprised. the movie, while featuring a tremendous amount of action, also has quite a bit of comedy making it an all around enjoyable experience for everyone. a must own movie for any collection.

When Michael Bay decided the time was right to bring the much loved line of action toys to life for a big-budget fiasco -- he didn't skimp on the price tag. This movie is huge! As big as the robots -- who are the real stars of the film (as it should be) and moves along at a breakneck pace! There's only one way to see this film and that's in it's superior Blu-ray, ultra-dynamic sound presentation! It's fun over and over!

I watched this when I bought it on tuesday for the first time. I was mistified all the cool CG effects it had. Storyline. A couple of things dissapointed me though. First off if you watched the old school cartoon, you would know that BumbleBee was a bug not a camaro. Second Megatron was a Gun not a jet. Other than those two things I enjoyed the heck out of this movie Will Definatley Recommend. Even My parents enjoyed it there in there 50's Good film for teenagers and adults. You will have to suspend your believe while watching this.

I had my doubts about Bay's vision of the Transformers, but this movie had me excited for the sequel. Although there is some very odd things said by the robots, like, "I AM MEGATRON!" (seriously, how many people go around saying "I AM JOHN SMITH!") all in all, this movie is awesome. The humans in the film are great and to see the robots in action is fantastic. That said, I'm a huge fan of the extras and if you are too, you'll want to get this Blu Ray. It's got a load more stuff than even the special edition of the DVDs.

This is by far the best action movie of the year! It was jam packed with action from start to finish! The special effects were mind-blowing! They did an excellent job of matching the mood of the scene with great songs. This movie is a must-see for anyone who grew up watching the Transformers cartoons on television. It was a MAJOR adrenaline rush!

This is probably the best movie I've seen. The actors are great and I loved the action. Every second there is a fight. But really makes this movie is the songs during the course of the movie. It really makes you want to watch the movie over and over again. I can't wait of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen the sequel. This is a must buy.

Finally Transformers came to the theaters and Michael Bay decides the unthinkable, he doesn't use that much special effects as other directors use, which is a good thing. Think about how cartoonish Power Rangers, Godzilla, Wild Wild West and others looked like with so much special effects. The tranforming looked almost real and the plot was just on point. Greatness. Okay but what was up with Anthony Anderson's role, comic relief..no, intelligence...umm no, romance...heck no. NO real meaning for the whole movie.

Great Action Sequences and Awsome Special Effects make this movie irresistible for some people (like me ) however the acting is not that good and it also does not use the original story from the Series ...... The great Plus here comes from Hearing Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime ...... when Optimus said to megatron .... One shall Stand ...one Shall fall i almost cryied ( In the Animated movie Optimus says the same line in the battle with Megatron where Optimus dies ) ..... overall great movie

This movie is an absolute must have for any Blu-Ray owner. The special effects are just simply breath taking. All those fast motion fights in the theater that you may have had a hard time seeing are now crystal clear. The DVD version definately has some blurriness to it that can only be fixed by buying this movie in Hi-Def.

I highly anticipated the release of this DVD. When I first heard of the movie coming out I didn't think they could do anything remarkable with toys that my children played with. Boy, was I wrong! It is now one of my favorite most watched DVD's in my growing collection. I have gotten more than one person hooked on it!

I was skeptical at first when I heard a live action/CG movie was being made out of the Transformers toys of my childhook, but Michael Bay did a great job. A good cast of characters, especially with Shia Lebouf. The Transformers of course look different, a bit more flashier than the old toys. Can't wait for the sequel.

This was the best movie in 2007 and if u havent seen transformers than ur missing out. It was one of the best movies of 2007 and one of the best moveis ive seen. Ive seen it 3 times in theaters and about 5 times on DVD and it never gets old. Words cant tell u how great it is ur just going to have to check it out

well im 32 yrs old so i know the original transformers so even though the movie was great it was a little to high tech and i was looking forward to the real transformers this was the 2007 version and the first 30 minutes of the movie you wouldnt even know you were watching transformers but the movie was great and still very enjoyable ... i think people of all ages would enjoy this movie and even if you never heard of or knew anything about transformers its still an amazing movie

WOW!!! This movie was fun and action all in one. Like I said brought back memories of when we were kids watching these on tv and having the action figures. I had to sit back and think of all the figures in the movie to remember them. But all in all great movie and would tell anyone who is anyone have to see movie!!

I realy wasn't expecting much from this movie, but it truely surprised me. The story and the cg were both awsome. My only complaint is that this movie isnt on blue-ray. As much as I like this movie im not buying a hd player just for one movie.

Eventhough this movie didn't come out in Blu Ray for stupid reasons, it's still one of the best movies of 2007. And this 2 Disc Special Edition is worth your money, with the feature film in DVD 1 and Extra Features, like Behind the Scenes, Interviews and Commentaries in DVD 2, you just HAVE to buy this one.
