I grew up watching the G1 Transformers. When the first movie came out I was hoping it wasn't horrible. Unlike others I've talked to, I was greatly surprised that the first movie exceeded my expectations. When "Revenge of the Fallen" came out, my thought was "could lightning strike twice?". Thankfully it did. I was so pleased with the movie that I knew I would get it once the Blu-Ray version was released. If you enjoyed the first movie, I believe you should enjoy this movie just as much if not more.

I was blindsided by how awesome this movie was. Did not expect it to surpass the first one but it did. The sound is amazing. The effects are insane. Non-stop action. This is the movie you show off your home system with. Shia LaBeouf does a great job and please lets not forget about the voice work of Hugo Weaving. Josh Duhamel is always awesome as well. Just a great action movie.

Despite being a critic of the storyline and acting, this movie really deserves a place in a home theater library. It is hard to find material that will demo a good home theater setup as well as this movie. The film itself is pristine, colors are accurate, deep inky blacks, and the soundtrack leaves nothing to be desired. It is the first movie that got me even questioning the available power of my receivers amplifiers. Enjoy it for what it is, an action packed piece of ear and eye candy!

Just like its predecessor, Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen is a great blockbuster. The effects are great, the concept is huge, and is full of action sequences and explosions (courtesy of Michael Bay). It's not a movie that's meant to provoke a new rational or insight minds with new thoughts, it's a movie that's meant to be enjoyed. It succeeds.

In this sequel to the original hit, the plot thickens and the threat of the enemy Decepticons moves into all new territory -- this is an excellent set-up for a fantastic finale in a 3-part story and features the action you'd come to expect, but the magic of the Transformers is a little lost now that we're familiar with how they work...it's still a great popcorn flick!

As a fan of the original movie, I was looking forward to this one and really enjoyed it. The plot is not oscar material but it's SciFi, supposed to be fun and interesting. I liked the way they continue to build upon the Transformers story and leave it open for additional epidsodes. This is a must have for all SciFi movie buffs. On a side note, as nice as the technology makes the picture, Blu-ray will not last if the price of the discs don't start coming down.

I cannot believe they released the Blu Ray disk without an English 5.1 Dolby Digital track. The Blu Ray disk only comes with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio/French 5.1 Dolby Digital/Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and various subtitles. As I played the BD my system reverted back to ProLogic Surround. I updated the software in both my Sony KDL40XBR6 LCD TV and Sony BDP-S550 Blu Ray player in an effort to restore a Dolby Digital signal that was never there. I even pulled all the Yamaha 2092 stereo components out and checked the cables. To ensure I was still getting the Dolby Digital signal I successfully played a DVD and another BD "Iron Man." A double check of the back of the Transformers BD case revealed the list of supported audio (mentioned above) and a small note "certain advanced features may not play on all machines." Here was my answer. Oh I was able to play the Transformers BD in French 5.1 Dolby Digital Successfully. I just cannot believe that the Transformers BD was not released with both DTS and Dolby Digital. I have to go to the smaller resolution DVD to get the better sound or listen in French/Spanish. Seems kinda odd. Needless to say I am very disappointed in this BD.

This movie picks up where the last movie left off.Megatron returns to bring his master The Fallen to Earth and destroy the planet.Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) must figure out the history of the Transformers' presence on Earth and find a way to save the world.Once again the cast do a good job at their respected roles.With new cast memebers and characters bringing humor whenever their on screen.

I enjoyed the first Transformers more than this one. The px/sound qualiity and bass are great on blu-ray though. The storyline on this second movie was not as great as the first transformers. I have the 1st one in my blu collection....only rented the second one, and probably will not purchase this one.

I bought this to watch with a five year old. He liked it and I did to He knew all of the characters names and all. We both liked the special effects and the whole movie wasn't bad but we both got a little bored before the end. It's almost non stop robot fighting before the well expected ending. My guess is five is a little young and sixty one is a little old for this movie.

It was a great movie that I saw in theatres four times. My dad was unable to make it to the theatres so I bought this copy for his birthday, because he enjoyed the first and I knew that he would like this one as well. Seeing as he lives in Florida buying from Bestbuy.com and have it shipped directly to him seemed to be the easiest way.

The only problem I had was that the dimple that holds the main movie dvd in place in the case was broken before I even picked up the movie. Luckily it wasn't scratched. But the other dimple broke after I tried putting the special features dvd back in after watching it. This is an awesome movie, I wished I had seen it in theaters!!!

This movie was an excellent sequel, but it had some major flaws from my point of view. the female college student Transformer was way over the top. i'm not understanding this cross between the movie Species and Transformers at all. Overall the action scenes, acting, and CGI was outstanding. I could have done without the stereotypical Transformers as well!

This movie had a lot more scenes with the transformers in it and it was longer. The concept of having the Transformers in a realistic movie is super! The extras give you a great insight into how the movie was created and history of the transformers.

This movie was one for my collection of Blu-Rays. It has a great plot that picks up from the first one. Love the way the cars and trucks turn into such great tranformations. Great Sound and great actors. Great movie.

From the beginning to the end of the movie had action pack scenes. The animation filmtography was outstanding. I enjoyed watching movie and giving the movie 2 thumbs up. I will recommend the movie to people that enjoys action animation and great use of animation process.

i like the movie because of the autobots are back and they kick those deceptions butt and also seeing new robots like ravage, jetfire, and seeing megatron come back to life that really sucks but at least he gets his butt handed to him by the one and only optuims prime.

awesome from begining to end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i loved this whole movie from begining to end i saw it when it came out in theaters it sure indeed did live up to the hype now i cant wait till the thrid movie comes out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a good sequel. I enjoyed the new robots and plot line was well done. About the only thing I didn’t like about it was that both movies ended about the same way…Other than that it was an awesome movie. I think by now I have watched it about 6 times.

It's a very entertaining movie,I loved the special effects.I saw this movie at the show and i bought it.I've seen it at least 15 times so far.I can't wait for the next one.5 star movie in my book.
