The movie itself is just ok at best. Ranks below TF 1 & 3 but above TF 2 & 4. The steelbook art is ok, not as good as the TF 4 Best Buy steel but better than those ugly general release steelbooks that came out for the first four movies recently. This should've included the 3D version of the movie though.

If you're a fan of the franchise than you have to see this one as well. While I don't think it's the best in the bunch it follows the story line and delivers on everything. I love Mark Whalburg but wish they could have got the origianl cast to come back with him somehow, that would have been awesome.

I grew up with transformers, and I love those transformers. The franchise movies have almost killed off the series. I don't know why I keep watching. I didn't go to the theatre for this one though. Just saved my money and bought the 3d Blu Ray. It was okay but not great. I do miss cool Autobots though.

You know what to expect from a Michael Bay Transformers movie by now. You either enjoy them or hate them; this new installment won't likely change anyone's mind. The 3D is simply one of the best when it comes to Blu Ray. Pronounced depth. Lush, sharp visuals. This had lots of big aspect ratio scenes.

I have been a big Transformers fan for a long time. I enjoyed this movie and with Mark Wahlberg in the movies now I think they are a bit better acting wise then the first few. Not everyone will enjoy this movie but I did and if you also like the Transformers I believe you will like this movie also.

This movie is definitely not the the best Transformers in the series. The running time is a little long, and the story is a bit convoluted. There is literally just too much going on. It's like the filmmakers couldn't make up there mind what direction they wanted to go in, so they just threw everything in and than blasted it into your face. The movie is fun to watch to some extent, here and there, but it's still all over the place. On the plus side. This is an incredible 4K presentation. I mean it is one of the best I have ever scene. The details stand out like no other. It is a visual treat. The audio is just as impressive. It's loud bombastic, and makes a statement. Get it just to look at it. There you go.

When this movie started, I thought it was the wrong one due to how it started. It fooled me greatly! But this is another good Transformers movie and I like the fact that Mark Wahlberg is continuing the saga.

I get so frustrated at the transformers movies. No I don’t want to see Bublebee audition for his own movie. No I don’t want to see more humans and how they can take down these giant robots. No we don’t need to see another movie on Earth. I do want to see more of the classic transformers and for the story to take place for once off of Earth. I do want to see more of Unicron and the Quintisans. I do want to see more transformer action. While this movie was good it wasn’t stellar. When the movie delivers on the hits it really delivers. However there are just things in this movie along with the entire film franchise that are big misses. Optimus Prime is still the main character and rightfully should be. That is what keeps me coming back and buying these movies so long as I can catch them on sale.

Way better the the last one but not as good as originals

First off, the packaging for this Steelbook is fantastic and happens to be one of my favorites. I had the other four films on a Steelbook as well so I couldn't pass this up. However just like the last few transformers movies, it wasn't all too great and the aspect ratio kept bugging me.

I was expecting the usual over the top CGI and explosions. Little did I know that it was going to be exactly that, but non-stop! From start to finish, it’s nothing but action and excitement. I’m not into serious, moving movies. I watch movies for entertainment, and this delivers. I watched it 3 times within 48hrs. It looks so good in 4K. I just like watching it. It’s a good movie.

Not the best in the series, but not horrible either.

This movie starts very slow. The middle of the movie.. is still pretty slow. It doesn't start to get good till the ending. They try to hard to build up the storyline and neglect what I want to see... Bumble bee and Optimus doing what do what they do best.. beat on some decepticons.

Interesting concept. Great way to waste a few hours.

I know it's Transformers and SFX are required but it seemed waaay over the top in that regard. The plot seemed weak and, to some degree, directionless. However, Mark Wahlberg was a great casting change and the 4K Blu Ray was awesome. Not my favorite movie in the franchise though.

This movie was great. How is this the lowest rated transformers film. This was better than Revenge Of The Fallen. The story was great and the fight scenes were very cool to watch. Me and my friends saw it and we all loved it. Great Movie. Ignore the critics. It is a good movie.

Recently purchased a very expensive 4K TV much to the dismay of my wife. And for the 1st offical test we bought amd watched this movie in 4K. And boy id did not disappoint. Color was amazing, the blacks are unbelievable. The movie itself was good. Nice balance between action and comedy. Series was getting a little stale but this brings a whole new element to the table.
