Another high quality movie with Mark Wahlberg in the Transformers story. He is much better than Shia LaBeouf in these movies. I am so glad they took all the goofiness out of this series and actually started making serious movies. Optimus Prime goes and finds his world destroyed and must go back to Earth and find an artifact to save his world and destroy the Earth, very good movie and plot, great special effects as usual. This is a must buy for any Transformers fan!

Paused frequently only Sony 4K up800 great detail and looks good on big screen

I own the 4k and Blu-ray versions of the movie the 4k version is breathtaking lots of action as you would expect from a transformers movie . I really enjoyed the story line also this movie delivers in all aspect even the sound quality is top notch with it also being avaliable in Dolby atmos you hear sounds from all directions from the crisp highs to the deep lows from the ground shaking bass . Anyone who has a 4k collection or starting one this is a must buy

Was ok, but the worst transformer movie. Got it to complete the collection

If you are coming into this one with high story and script expectations, sit down, we need to talk. The bad news is the story isn't great. It's fun if you don't poke too many holes in your suspension of disbelief. These movies have never been high art, but this is at least better than the last couple of films. Especially Dark of the Moon. The good news is there are tons of amazing visuals. Lots of explosions and robot fights. That's why we're all here, right? The 4K is very good. I don't have HDR yet, so I can't speak to that, but I did a comparison between the Blu-Ray and the 4K disc and you can see differences. Like most newer movies, I don't think this could look a lot better and the sound is amazing. If you have a good sub, the low-end gets crazy. You probably know what you are getting here, but if you liked the other (more recent) Transformers movies you'll enjoy yourself here. I'd probably go 4.5 / 5 for this disc, and 2/5 for the movie.

I came into seeing this movie, thinking with all the terrible reviews I saw, it would be boring. It was pretty interesting, definitely better than the previous. Parts felt a bit drawn out, like at the end of the movie, and the scene at the junkyard. But it was good to see the movie talk about Unicron and how it relates to the Transformers story.

Transformer is my favorite movie! I have every one of the movies so when The Last Night hit the theaters, I anxiously waited for it's dvd release. Best Buy is the only store I shop at for new releases. I've never had an issue with ANY movie I've purchased there, they always have a lot in store and the prices are ridiculously reasonable! So when Transformers was released, I had to go get it! Thanks Best Buy for always having what I want at a low cost.

Time to get rid of the transformers series. These movies are getting bad

The movie was a good movie but i feel like the first tranfomers was better

If you own any previous steelbooks from Best Buy you already know that you are getting a high quality product. Art featured on SB looks great, loaded with special features, and includes a digital copy of the film. It's fun collecting Best Buy steelbooks and this one looks great with all the others on my shelf. :-) Also battling talking robots and mass destruction on an epic scale is always a fun to watch experience good for the whole family.

I think that "Transformers: The Last Knight" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I was really excited to see this film. I have seen and enjoyed all of the "Transformers" films several times and I also think that "Transformers: The Last Knight" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an amazing and original storyline.

I wont spend time reviewing the movie itself. So I just want to point out that this looks amazing in 3D with the switching aspect ratios. The audio is awesome too. Just have to say though that I am very disappointed that the studios are trying to kill Blu-ray 3D here in the US, so thank you Paramount for releasing this in 3D.

The first Transformers film was a pleasure to watch, despite it being kind of dumb entertainment, it was a lot of fun. The sequels garnered more impressive box office as time went on, finally joining the billion dollar club with the 3rd film. But after the third movie, the domestic take sunk to new lows but worldwide, it was a huge hit, despite ever growing fan and critical backlash. The Last Knight was the first true underperforming Transformers film, with the worst take of the series, foreign and domestic. Was it really worthy of it's tepid response or is it a hidden gem? The film starts in King Arthur's time, with Transformers on Earth (dubbed the Knights of Iacon) being approached by Merlin to help King Arthur win a losing battle. They win, hand Merlin an alien staff, and warn of a dark force that will look for it. Moving to modern day, a year after the events of Age of Extinction, the TRF are after the remaining bots who are considered enemies of the majority of people, with Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) hiding a few in his junkyard. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime returns to Cybertron to meet his Creator and is brainwashed to find the alien staff to absorb Earth's power to restore power to Cybertron. But, back on Earth, mysterious horns start erupting from the Earth's crust, which the planet is a dormant bot named Unicron, who is regaining it's power, and is an enemy to Cybertron (this is already making me drop IQ points describing the film). The forces of fate converge, which created major mayhem and destruction for 2 hours and 35 minutes at various points around the world and on Cybertron. Overlong, over-plotted, rather poorly acted despite some talent amongst the cast, and extremely fast editing make this probably one of the worst Transformer films of them all, but then again, you can say that about all the films past number 1. It looks great, with some snazzy CGI, slick cinematography, and really good production values overall, but beyond being demo material for the picture and sound (more on that in a minute) it's a complete trash heap that deserves staying in the scrap yard to rust for all eternity. Luckily, the picture quality is better than rust, with the picture being sharp as a tack for the standard Bluray disc and the 3D version certainly the way to go, in my honest, humble opinion. The 3D (Largely shot on IMAX 3D cameras, with some scenes, and even shots being shot on film or standard digital equipment) retains the colors and sharpness of the picture, while adding some impressive depth and plenty of pop-out moments that will be on your demo pile, for at least a few years (Due note that the aspect ratio does change throughout). The Dolby Atmos sound is also demo worthy, with plenty of bass, punch and intensity to knock the house of the block, with normal dialogue scenes even sounding amazingly layered. The extras are also plentiful, though the lack of a commentary by Michael Bay is a disappointment (He hadn't recorded a commentary since Transformers 2 sadly), but the making-of documentaries are plentiful and are on it's own Bluray. Six featurette, amounting to over 90 minutes of behind the scenes look at the "Bay-hem", offering nice looks at behind the scenes footage, looking at locations, learning about the characters and CGI and more, but this package seems the least of all the films when it comes to extras. Still, there is plenty here to dig through for fans and film buffs alike. Overall, strong 3D, terrific PQ and AQ with generous extras and a digital copy is not enough to suffer 2 and a half hours of stupidity on a disc.

It's not a bad movie at the Transformers it's OK seen better

If you have watched the other movies than you must watch this one as well. As always not to give anything away Micheal bay messing up the whole story about the Transformers. So don't get too excited when you see or here a name that you remember from the old cartoons. That aside it is a good movie with lots of action.

If you're a fan of the other four installments you're like this movie but the movie itself gets lost too many times. I think it's time to hand the keys over to another director to see what they could do.

Story was about what I expected, so so. 3D was excellent, very little ghosting. I am a big fan of 3D and resentful of every TV manufacturer no longer supporting it.

I am a huge Transformers fan and this movie did not disappoint at all! It has a good story line with some twists. Action scenes are as good as ever, sure to get your blood pumping and imagining yourself representing THE GOOD to triumph over Evil! I highly enjoyed watching it!

I actually enjoyed the last sequence but leading up to it was pretty horrible. Still worth the watch however in my opinion.
