DONT DO THIS TO YOURSELF.

Plenty avail on net that have millions of users. If you're giving it away for free, give something related to the actual purchase. IE phone = free car charger, etc...not security software.

I read online that it sucks up resources, slows down boot times and does a subpar job at protection. There are better free ones online. Check out Tom's reviews. At least it was free.

Terrible Program

Most free software does what this does but better. I got it free along side my pc purchase and I had to do a ton of workarounds just to get it installed.

Just make sure it is turned on. And don't open links from sources you don't trust, including from someone you know without proper explanation.

Took it into Best Buy and they started the download process, and sent us on our way. It errored out and never did download correctly. So it was a waste of money for us.

It's actually very helpful to have a strong security program running during first few months of a new computer's life because that is when new software is being installed. It is much easier to prevent a bad program from getting onto your computer in the first place than it is to dig it out long after-the-fact.
