Posted .Microsoft's Defender provides base line protection but that security program fails to pass many of the tests conducted on security software. Trend Micro Internet Security not only passes those tests but received top marks across the board.

Trend Micro for Mac can watch for programs that sneak through social media or other websites and try to take your personal information. Even if you don't use it to prevent viruses from getting ON your MacBook, you should strongly consider it to prevent thieves from taking information OFF your computer.
