It is free for 6 months and then locks into a paid renewal. I find security for Apple devices mostly redundant as Apple addresses most security issues through constant iOS updates. And, the iPad without the software seems to be faster.

A call to Geek Squard on this topic didn't help. An onsite visit from a Gerk Squad person did help. Turns out I didn't need this free software. I was very pleased with the on site Geek Squad rep. He cleared up my subscription problem and this issue. Very knowledgeable and professional. And patient with the elderly. I am very happy with my Geek Squad support. I wish sales didn't sell me things that I don't need. I still have a mess with my Microsoft 365 subscription to clean up. It is going to cost me 69.99. But Geek Squad helped me figure out what to do.

I attempted to install security on my android phone and created many problems on my phone. Way too many notifications and it drained my phone battery FAST!
