It's a scam product, that they feel they can push on you because they get money for each "download". This is also why they continually spam your email with "don't forget to install".

It came free with laptop purchase and I have never ever used it. Scan once a month with free version of malwarebytes instead and never use paid antivirus. It's all full of bloatware and "scary language" designed to get non tech savy folks to spend money for nothing
