After 30 minutes they could not so they processed return there. WASTED 2 hours counting my triptime

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this software as a complementary gift with a small pc purchase at best buy and I decided to install it to my home machine, which is an old intel i5 with 16 gb ram. It was all good till I ran a deep cleaning including old system files. After that clean-up, the trend micro continuously triggered full system scans, ran processes on the background, and slowed down the computer to a halt. I had to uninstall it and install avast free edition. Now it works fine.

The product key (serial) is for 6 months, but when I installed it, it says "Expiring in 64 days". I have double checked that the serial was properly applied. I contacted Remote Support: Geek squad (Agent Nicky) and all he had to say was - " Your plan is expiring on 1/22/2019." Not helpful Nicky. Anybody with the same issue?

Trend Micro runs in the background frequently. It slows the system down so badly that apps crash and I can't use some websites, incl. gov't websites. With the last update it got even worse. It bogs the system down even worse than Norton. I will NOT be renewing when this subscription ends!
