I’ve been using the Trend Micro Internet Security on my new HP laptop, and it’s been reassuring to have this layer of protection. The setup was straightforward, and it runs quietly in the background without hogging resources. It’s vigilant against phishing and malware, which is crucial as I frequently browse and shop online. The parental controls are a feature I don’t use, but it’s nice to know they’re there. One improvement could be more detailed notifications about blocked threats to understand what’s being stopped. Overall, it’s a competent security suite that offers peace of mind.

I'm sure TREND will be in the league with the other outstanding products that Best Buy offers, but it is too early to tell. I now have a 12 month subscription, that I received when I upgraded my Geek Squad level of service and was supposed to be installed when Geeks did a data transfer. It was not! Additionally, there's some confusion; the literature on-line says I can install on three instruments, however the literature I got with my upgrade says ten. Probably a moot point, since I'm only anticipating putting it on three. Which brings up another point; When I tried to install Trend on my apple notebook, by downloading "Trend Micro Mobile for iPad" I get a message that says " Item you requested not currently available in US Store." WHAT SHOULD MY NEXT STEP BE FOR INSTALLING? Don't want the 25 points

The only con I could find was the persistent appearance of window pop-ups or notifications after having set it up initially, and the disturbances to previously established workflows.

There is anti spam, scam, virus, phishing software etc… they also offer identity theft coverage of up to $1 million, this is to match Lifelock, now owned by Norton Antivirus.

I bought this laptop two weeks ago after researching for nearly two months for it, and it has exceeded my expectations. I’m especially impressed by the dual screen, its sleek design, and the detachable keyboard that can also be propped up — it’s both functional and stylish. Every time I bring it out, it turns heads. It’s practically become my personal show-and-tell (though my family is probably tired of hearing about it by now!). The included sleeve and pen are a great bonus, especially for someone as clumsy as I am. I would say I bought an excellent condition open-box and it didn't come with the sleeve, but when I reached out to my local Best Buy, they told me to come in and pick any laptop sleeve I would like from the store(absolutely loved that) I can’t overstate how much I love the sleekness. My previous laptop was a bulky gaming machine — heavy, quick to overheat, and terrible battery life — so I rarely took it anywhere(I loved it but was a hassle to take anywhere). In contrast, this new laptop has excellent battery performance. And when it does get warm, I can simply prop it up and detach the keyboard to continue working wirelessly, which helps a lot. There are two downsides I’ve noticed. First, the trackpad occasionally becomes unresponsive, and I have to detach and reattach the keyboard to fix it. Second, writing on the screen isn’t as intuitive as I’d hoped. Coming from using an iPad all through college for note-taking, I find the pen input here overly sensitive — resting my hand on the screen often triggers unwanted actions. Despite those two issues, this has been a fantastic purchase overall.
