This came free with my laptop purchase, but ultimately decided to just stick with Windows' built-in Defender app since this was not a lifetime subscription and wanted to keep costs low and the computer clutter-free. Still, free is better than nothing so some may consider this a bonus.

This came free with a new MacBook Pro so I installed it to give it a try. It's easy to install and setup. It keeps reporting that a new device is connected when my Apple backup automatically kicks in but I haven't figured out how to disable it from reporting that drive. It hasn't found any problems so I don't think I'll contine to use it after the free trial is done.

It was free so it was worth the price but I don't know if I would buy it otherwise.

easy to install except the scans seem slow. not an app so it's harder to tell how effective it works.

Not a bad free gift but hard to install finding it online. wish it came with easier setup.

I was forced to take this but not something I purchased so I am not planning to use it also for now. What do I do if it comes for free. I wish I had the option to swap this for something else.

Recommended by local Geek Squad personnel as part of data/application software transfer to a new laptop. They claimed to use it themselves on their personal computers. It was free with the purchase; while McAfee was on the laptop, but just for a free trial with follow-on purchase. Also recommended by Geek Squad as replacement for Kaspersky security software, as this is a Russian product with warnings about from US government agencies.

No major complaints with it. I am pjcky about security with my devices but TMIS seems solid
