It came free with our laptop purchase we so didn't have to purchase it up front. The 6 month subscription is nice so you can see how everything works before you commit to an antivirus software.

Decent anti-virus product with fair pricing.

There are better products out there but for the price, this is a good tool. Make no mistake, you need an antivirus product and when it comes down to it, I think if you purchase from one of the big three or four, it is all about the price when you need it. Trend micro is a decent choice and if the price is right, go ahead and pick it up.

Good but there are better

I would say it's a good starter security program, but there are other security brands that are better out there that you can get that do a lot more and protect a lot more.. Do the research and always look through the reviews!!
