Trend Micro works well ony laptop, although it doesn't work well on Android phone. A message keeps popping up on my phone stating that it's not protected even though it's supposed to be.

This is a good product for the added security needed in today’s times. However, it’s not very user-friendly for setting up or uploading to the device. A lot of red tape and not necessarily very clear instructions. Overall, it’s not too bad.

I really don’t trust this virus protection because I don’t know anyone who has it. Works good for now but will make up mind later if it is better... geek person told me it is the best out there. But still have my doubts to this day.??.

I just have a month using this antivirus and it runs smoothly. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that you get notifications for every single software you run. I guess you can deactivate the notifications, after that no any other problems for the moment.

This was a freebie with the purchase of a PC tower from Best Buy. I was going to need to install Internet security software on that PC anyway, and the 6-month subscription would last 5 months longer than the 1-month trial of McAfee's antivirus preinstalled on the PC, so I went ahead and installed it. It does NOT like for any competing Internet security software to be installed (with the possible exception of Windows Defender). I can tell that Trend Micro is attempting to keep me safe online, as it color-codes any clickable links as to whether they're safe, iffy, or DANGEROUS. It also wants me to always open shopping websites within a "safe window"; the problem is that the "safe window" does not retain my saved login information, so I close the "safe window" when I trust the website. I was also encountering an issue with pop-up ads (whether as a small overlaw window or a separate tab in the browser) opening whenever I clicked on a link in an email, even from trusted sources -- and this had NOT been a problem on my previous work PC (using IOBit's Malware Fighter). I installed a third-party pop-up blocker (a highly-rated extension for MS Edge from the Microsoft App Store), and that seems to have solved that issue. I will keep Trend Micro Internet Security installed on this PC for the duration of the 6-month subscription, but will not take advantage of the 3-device coverage, and will switch to another Internet security software app once the 6 months are over.

This software came with my laptop purchase for free, and I thought to give it a try. It works great and helps me protect my computer. The reason I don't give it a full rating is that of the annoying 'Master Password' pop-up that comes up on every page. Other than that, it is a good product.

Do not consider it necessary since Windows Defender seemed sufficient to me (I know very well what sites I visit, what I download and what I install on my PC). However, since it came free with the purchase of my PC I decided to keep it. It is a very good antivirus, I did not notice slowing down of the PC and in the tests of continuous use (I myself passed files that I KNEW were contaminated to my PC) it worked wonderfully. Recommended for those who need a little more protection

I received this for free when I purchased a new computer during Christmas time. It was easy to install and works well for its intended purpose.

Feedback for BestBuy - I thought I had 6 months from activation as the trial, but it was 6 months from purchase - details were a bit misleading. Actual product seems fine so far.

hi. I bought a 2017 Airbook, refurbished and apple certified, from Best Buy a couple of months ago. it has been wonderful. while I can't load browser updates (sequoia) because the operating system is a little outdated, I can browse most websites, read the NYTimes and New Yorker, draft emails and essays, Zoom and FaceTime, read Apple Books and so many other things. To avoid purchasing a Mac with an outdated OS, I would recommend carefully checking the device's operating system before purchase, but other than small inconveniences solved with iCloud, I'm very happy with my Airbook.

I used this software on my MacBook Air, LG V20, and HP computer and I’m blown away by its extremely effective and responsive performance. The only qualms I had about it (more like annoyance) was that, even after tweaking the password protection for certain apps, the program made it time consuming to log in for app use. But that meant that it performed its job very well. I also love the fact that it gives me updates on the performance of all of my devices and worked seamlessly across all platforms. Can’t wait to try it on my iPhone 8. Thank you Trend Micro!
