I love this trial version of the Interner security subscription. I did not know much about virus protection for Apple products before receiving this trial when I purchased a new Ipad. I am glad this came with the Ipad and I could install it on my MacBook. I love how I can customize the scans and when they occur, as well as what files they scan. This also works on up to three devices. After reading about the new RandsomWare hitting Macs recently, this definitely put some worries at ease, just knowing that I have this installed.

I feel that I am protected and it is a pretty good value.

so far... this has been comparable to what pre-installed (McAfee) as bloatware on my laptop. Easy to install. Seems to secure my laptop.

They added this for free with my computer purchase. But I didn't use it. Now, they are giving me '25 points' for this review. I have no idea what a 'point' is. It maybe makes sense to have some kind of virus protection on your computer. This one seems ok.

I’ve used Trend Micro for internet protection on my sister's laptop and I really like the product. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is that I wasn’t able to successfully activate the Best Buy free 6-month subscription on my new laptop because I was already a current Trend subscriber with an expired subscription. I’ve tried following the instruction manual, but still couldn’t get it activated. I’ve even chatted online with Geek Squad, but because my new laptop was in S mode, I was unable to download the app to share my screen. So, it looks like I’ll have to pay for a subscription and won’t be able to take advantage of Best Buy’s free 6-month subscription.
