Its an antivirus software, got it free subscription for 6 months with laptop purchase. It works fine like other MacAfee or Norton products.

So far so good, I love that it comes with the device, but I wish it was for the whole year.

I’ve always used Trend Micro for internet protection and really like the product. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is because I wasn’t able to successfully activate the Best Buy free 6-month subscription on my new laptop because I was already a current Trend’s subscriber with an expired subscription. I’ve tried following the instruction manual, but still couldn’t get it activated. I’ve even chatted online with Geek Squad, but because my new laptop was in S mode, I was unable to download the app to share my screen. So, it looks like I’ll have to pay for a subscription and won’t be able to take advantage of Best Buy’s free 6-month subscription.

This is super easy to install security software. It’s nice to know the bad guys can’t bust into my pc.

Works well. I figured I would install on my new tablet to see how it compares with Norton. It was seamless and worked well. When my 6 months was up I went back to Norton, only because it is free through my internet provider.

There are several times the software comes in handy. It always detects when suspicious activity is going on, if any file may put harm to your computer, and I have not gotten any viruses or malicious software due to this product.

I installed Trend Micro and it went fairly easy. It does make you uninstall other antivirus programs that you have, so do not purchase if your machine comes with one, or if you have protection already.

I had never worried about Internet security with Apple products before, but these days, you never know. I was more than willing to give Trend Micro a try for six months, and the price was right...free! I have no complaints.

I don’t personally use this but it’s nice that it’s included for free.
