I’ve always used Trend Micro for internet protection and really like the product. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is because I wasn’t able to successfully activate the Best Buy free 6-month subscription on my new laptop because I was already a current Trend’s subscriber with an expired subscription. I’ve tried following the instruction manual, but still couldn’t get it activated. I’ve even chatted online with Geek Squad, but because my new laptop was in S mode, I was unable to download the app to share my screen. So, it looks like I’ll have to pay for a subscription and won’t be able to take advantage of Best Buy’s free 6-month subscription.

It gives the right protection very useful and easy to activate no hard usage.

This software was included with my chromebook purchase. Trend Micro is one of the few AV software makers that offer compatibility with chromebooks. Actually, Google says AV software is unnecessary in Chrome and the AV function is built-in. So, Trend Micro actually just provides a browser add-on for chromebooks to warn about malware web sites. It does NOT perform the other traditional antivirus scans on the chromebook. Luckily, the Best Buy offer allows download of either the chromebook or the traditional PC version. You can use that, with ALL the PC AV features on a windows laptop or desktop if you have one. It is among the best for a windows PC.

I only got this product because it came for free with my laptop purchase. I did some research on the Internet Security and found out that it was reliable. However, this can't really compare to the Windows security.

Trend Micro Internet Security 3- Devicce 6 Month Subscription... Wish it was longer. Kinda slows the computer down but it does it job so I wont complain.

Works as described..no issues..protects my tablet without having to do anything

The security defense is excellent. My computer has been safe from all virus threats.

Excellent product, gives me peace of mind knowing that all of my sensitive information is being well taken care of. I would recommend it, now it all depends on the cost for the following 6 months. Hopefully, it's not too expensive so that I can continue with the service.

Works great! Haven't had a virus yet and there's minimal pop-ups and notifications which is nice.

Seems good so far, used on my old hp and no issues unless this is what caused the super slowness after the free upgrade to Windows 10. All scans came back computer clean and isolated a few threats over the two years I used with the hp.

Kaspersky had become burdensome, so when Trend Micro came free with a recent purchase I figured it was worth a try. So far so good, but I'm a pretty cautious web-surfer. Time will tell how well it does at protecting my computer.
