    Extremely heavy usage and overly aggressive to a point it disables features of windows and overrides (IT) administration rights for your pc user account. It also would not let certain programs open as well.

    The cashier will tell you it is free but will not tell you it auto renews and pulls money off your account after 6 months.

    This software was recommended by an IT engineer at work, the software is very effective scanning malicious websites and potential security issues to your devices. for six months this is a great way to see how it works.

    I was offered this for free when I bought my computer. It kind of influenced me on purchasing the computer. It is not compatible with the computer that I bought. I don’t understand Microsoft does not have an app for the Trend Micro antivirus, therefore recommends not using it, which I totally understand. Obviously the people that offer the product with Microsoft computer doesn’t.

    What a scam! I got this "free" subscription with a purchase at Best Buys. I never used it, ever. Then I made sure I phoned in and told them I didn't want to renew. They still charged me months after. I will never but again from Best But in the USA!!!!

    trend micro at best buy 49.99 for six mos. go direct to trend same 49.99 for a year. rip off dont do it free the first 6 mos then......

    Purchased Trend Micro with our new HP. Runs seamlessly in the background. Have used Trend for all our computers from Best Buy, Great security.

    So far the trend micro security suite works great. Scans computer automatically. Very easy to use. Protects you against hackers scammers. Worth having.

    Even though Trend Micro was free it was garbage. I installed it after having an IT person help me to install. I would not recommend it to anybody.
