well for mp3 not so great ` sound is not good it's very tin sounding as an overall use.... for what? had to down load a notes app. office would only allow viewing unless you purchase the pro. had enough invested and the sound was horrible try to use anything and the google play stopped working keeps poping up even tried the reset several times. you need to be a computer programmer to even move files on that thing. So I connected to computer and downloaded a manager... that sucked too. Now i just move the files myself, but it is not working correctly unless you just remove the google player.

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter to replace one we got her for her birthday that did not work at all and she just loves it.. Touch screen responds well, sound is decent & the amount of apps you can download to it is just great. She also likes the fact that she can surf the web with it. The videos & pics it takes do not look bad.

This was a disappointing purchase. My son saved up to buy this item and it was VERY slow and frustrating to use. Again- very disappointed. We'll be taking it back.

This is a nice player and though it doesn't have Google Play. Amazon App Store has the most popular apps. The screen is smooth when changing from screen to screen. It has a slot for a micro SD card for extra storage. Netflix and Audible play well. Nice little player.

If it hadn't been for Best Buy's great customer service in allowing me to return the items (I bought two - one for me and one for my girlfriend# after the 15-day return policy had passed in exchange for an item of equal value, this would have been even more worse than it turned out to be. I bought this tablet with the main purpose of using the mp3 feature, while jogging. I could have very well used my smart phone, but I wanted a device that would be just for listening to music while I jogged.. I decided I would buy the Trio since it also could function as a mini-tablet. Turned out it could easily break as I dropped it by accident and the little buttons at the top fell off, but the main issue was that it could barely load web pages. I tried to download apps off the Amazon app store and no Instagram was there. The icon for Google play wasn't on the desktop, which has Instgram in the app store. When I finally got onto Google Play, the instagram couldn't even install. It was a nightmare getting anything to install on the device. I even tried going to different homes of family and friends to see if my wireless connection was the issue. When I contacted tech support via their online forum, they replied once and started the process of helping and then never replied to my subsequent messages. It's been a week almost and I haven't heard from them. Finally, I went back to Best Buy and it turned out my window to return the product had come and gone. Thank God, the customer service rep allowed me to exchange the products (remember I had two items) for items of equal value. When I went looking for a replacement mp3 player, it turned out they had discontinued selling any mp3 player except iPods. So, I was lucky to find two Seagate 500GB hard drives that were on sale for $59.99 each. The same amount I spent on the Trio. I ended up getting these items instead. I figured it would be better to just use my smart phone as an mp3 player and get the hard drives as I could make better use of them as I am always saving files and maybe I could use it in my car as a drive to play music cuz my car has a USB port. I'll see how that goes. Worse case, I'll just use my smart phone as I stated. DO NOT WASTE your time with this mini-tablet called the Trio. It is horrible!!! Thank God again for Best Buy.

This device is probably ok for a beginner. It just wasn't what I was looking for in an mp3 player.

I went to BB to buy a Sansa Clip MP3 player and saw this instead. Slick little device -- if it had GPS I wouldn't need to look for a used smartphone. More convenient than a tablet. Only had it one day so I don't know about the durability or actual battery life but for the usual android apps, youtube, etc., it's really a slick item -- especially for the price.!

I know, it looks like a good deal, and you don't even need it to do much. Well, it won't even do that. The display is ugly, poorly calibrated, and the WiFi claims a fast connection, but takes 5 minutes to retrieve a page my desktop grabbed in under a second. It also gets uncomfortably hot after even a few minutes use. The camera is terrible as well.

    Bought 3 - All 3 Broke

Bought 3 of these models - first one was accidentally dropped and the screen cracked. Second, the same. Third one just plain froze - was never dropped or abused. Paid between $50-60 each time, bought the warranty on the 2nd one, glad I did because I got store credit to buy the 3rd one. Now, just going to take 3rd one back and get store credit to save for a better mp3 player.

I was unable to load the Google Play Store onto this app, which meant that I could not load the Google Music app. Without the Google Music app, I could not access my Google Play Music collection, a major reason I bought the player. The processor is also very slow; downloads of apps took a noticeably long time when compared to even my old Droid Bionic.

I got this from my lady as a birthday present. I hadn't had an mp3 player in a year so I was anxious to try it out for that and the networking capabilities. It worked as advertised for about 3days when I dropped it from about knee high. It practically exploded into 6 pieces! Two of which I never found (important buttons). I took it back and used the replacement ($16.00) replacement plan she bought to give it another try. This time, the device never synched up with my computer. There was no power adapter provided, so the only way to charge it is to connect it with the network cable provided. The battery charges, but no info transfer. BIG, FAT, FAIL. I got my (her) money back.

Can't transfer music from your computer

My husband I and I purchased this with the intent to use it as our main mp3 player for our motorcycle. I have many Galaxy products and thought how easy this would be to use since I am already familiar with them, and the camera was a plus. I have loved them all...until this one. When I attached the tablet to our computer I was not able to find it as a "drive" but only as a "device" . There was no way to transfer my music from the computer to it. Extra frustrated because we just purchased it after spending 30 minutes with a sales rep telling him what we wanted. Taking it back and getting a regular mp3 player that I can transfer my music to.

Android Device w/o Google Play App Store

This device arrived today and is getting returned tomorrow. An Android device that not only doesn't come with the Google Play App Store, but you can't even install the Google Play App Store. See their support site at: http://www.xtremetab.com/help/ "While Google Play is currently under development, below are a few links where you can download thousands of popular Apps." Useless in my opinion.
