Tron was a great movie , If your a fan of the original than youll do a lot of comparisons between the two ,and whats new or better , personally i think the first ones better, you do have action with the racers . no tanks in this one kinda bummer , It dose keep ya interested for the most part,,

This is a great movie paying homage to its classic predecessor. On Blu-ray, Tron is full of visual eye candy spectacle for the eye to be satisfied even if the story doesn't. It's a good movie worth watching.

It not worth buying in 3D unless you get a good deal on it for the same cost as blu-ray.

If you are looking for a Tron: Legacy copy that has a digital copy, you'll have to buy the 3D bundle pack. This BR/DVD combo does not contain one, even though it states online that it does. SKU in store is the same and packaging does not say anywhere on it that it has a digital copy. I discussed this with the exchange clerk and she didn't think it had it either but I took a chance to find out if it was a marketing ploy to get you to buy the 3D bundle pack. I was wrong, the website description has misinformation. Enjoy the movie, movie is OK but the special effects are awesome. If you grew up watching the original, you'll still enjoy this sequel. If you want 3D, go to an IMAX theater...not your living room.

I rushed to buy Tron Legacy 3D pack and only found out that the 3D version is only a partial. It is cheating that one put couple of frames of 3D into a 2D movie and call it 3D. The movie maker, Disney here, should tell people on the cover of the DVD box that there is only 20% are really 3D in the 3D version of the movie. Do not waste your money on the 3D version. You will be really disappointed.

I've watched several 3D movies and, for most of the movie, I could not tell it was 3D. The movie was slow and boring.

This wasn't even close to a 3D. I actually viewed the whole movie without any glasses. It was no where near the movie 3d that I expected. Alice in Wonderland was awesome in 3d. I agree that Disney should have indicated there was not a high 3D in the movie rather than let the buyer find out.

the 3D on this is EXTREMELY disappointing. You would think with half of the movies backgrounds being cgi it would be more eye popping but nope it isn't. Glad I rented this and wasn't sharing it with others... that would have been embarrassing! Step Up 3D now that's how it's done!

The special effects are great but the plot is so lacking. Seemed slow to developed and really never got to a real high point.

Like 10% of the movie is in 3D. Not worth the extra money. Just get the regular bluray or DVD.
