My wife is into the vampire stuff but I have never liked it. After she made me watch an episode of TrueBlood I got into it. There is almost a guarantee to see an adult seen in every episode and I love the setting of the show, such a beautiful place.

This show pushes the limits on adult content. Blood and gore is plentiful. Not to mention more than the fair share of skin. All the while staying true to the vampire legends and myths. This is not Twilight. Keep the kids away. Outstanding story and casting.

I have only watched the first 2 episodes so far but I love the story line. I haven't gone all nuts about all the vampire movies that have been coming out, in fact I haven't gone to see any of them. But I love this. Louisiana is the prefect setting for a vampire series with all the voodoo mumbo jumbo in New Orleans. This isn't set in NOLA though it is further north. The southern accents of the characters are way way off and sound very phony but if you just ignore that the plot and story line is good.

The creator of this show is awesome he created Six Feet Under and American Beauty. It is dark like most of the shows Alan Ball does. The story line is really cool. I like the actors and the mystery. You should not show this to anyone under 16 or 17.

We chose not to watch this the first 4 seasons it was on HBO. This year we watched the first season and now we are hooked. We're currently on Season 3. Can't wait to see them all and catch up to the current season 5.

This is one of the hottest shows that out and I'm so glad that I was sucked (no pun intended) into it last season! I can't wait for seaon 2 to start, and for anybody that is unsure about it, watch season 1 and you'll be hooked!!

yes its a great show but i think the acting is kinda bad. all the books are SO MUCH BETTER!!!! if you like the show just wait and read the books they are amazing! i love the plot and all around the drama:] great show tho:]

I loved the Sookie Stackhouse novels so I thought I'd check out the tv series. The series follows a somewhat different path than do the books, but there's still a really good story line.

This is my favorite show, and I would recommend it to anybody! Season one is incredible and season two is even better! This show also has the greatest cast I have ever seen!

Picked this up from my local Best Buy on sale for $19.99. You can't beat that price anywhere! My wife and I love this show. Hope you didn't spend much more than we did though.

True Blood is a real good show I bought season 1&2 and LOVE it can't wait for Season 3 to come out I"m glad HBO picked up the show for a 4th season.

Part of the "Enhanced View" extras on the dvd is a corner video of Lafayette with some narration. BUT even when I watch the regular version (just push "Play Episode"), and not the "Enhanced View", I get the Lafayette narration (without the corner video) that drowns out the actual episode dialogue. Is anybody else having this problem?

I will shop Best Buy again for DVDs. The prices are great and shipping was quick. I would definetly recommend Best Buy to my family and friends.

This is a great tv series and also a great book series by Charlain Harris. I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 17.

I love this show, I watched it to the end of the series. I will be watching it again soon!
