I love season 1 of the show thought I would buy it so I could have it for the future. This is one series I could see multiple times.

What can I say about "True Detective"? This is an excellent show and I wasn't even able to watch it when it was still on television. Highly recommended.

This season of True Detective was truly amazing. I have yet to watch any of the disc version, but the Black Friday price was too good to pass up.

This has to be one of the hottest shows ever action, intrigue, excellent plot awesome cast. Had to own it definitely a keeper!!!!! Highly Reccommend

This is a great story, tough to watch in some places, but excellent storytelling and acting. Its not rushed either, its well thought-out and executed.

Detectives investigate a murder! But, it's more involved than the basic police story and it's one of the best television shows.

This is one of my top favorite shows . Matt and woody are just greatness . I was hooked immediately and I knew when it came out I would buy the season .

Awesome show amazing story both Mathew and woody should get the emmy. And the one shot scene in episode 4 I believe is worth the blu ray purchase alone.

I never watched this program on HBO. WOW, Matthew and Woody were outstanding. The story keeps you captivated. Do not miss this.

My husband and I loved this show! The acting is fantastic, and the story line is suspenseful. McConaughey and Harrelson are lights out. The only thing we did not enjoy about the series is the inappropriate scenes (which Best Buy won't allow me to mention specifically through this survey) and language.

This show is a must watch! Story is very well done and the acting from the major players are super. This also way better than the 2nd season.

This show is 8 episodes of pure awesomeness.. The two main actors, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are outsanding. You have to buy this set.

This show is rather creepy, but the acting is extremely well done. The relationship between these two detectives unfolds as the season goes along.

I had heard this was one of the greatest shows of all time from more than one person. Needless to say I went in with a lot of built up hype. While it was still very good, I didn't think it was great. Might just be my taste, but it is very well done and has some fantastic acting throughout.

Completely enjoyed watching this series. Both stars were excellent. Highly recommend
