Jason Reitman & Diablo Cody return with a new film and it's good. "Tully" is a drama providing a viewpoint on the struggles of motherhood at a mid-life age. While the plot does unveil a surprise that some may have already predicted from the get go, the acting here (particularly MacKenzie Davis) is top notch.

pretty funny movie for being a b movie watchable at least once

Charlize Theron puts on an amazing performance as an extremely over-worked (and under-appreciated) mother of three. Aside from the physical transformation she went through for the role, Ms. Theron gets the mental state of a stressed out mother exactly right. Mackenzie Davis is excellent as well.

Bought movie because im a charlize Therone fan.This is one of those movies,where in the last 30 minutes or so;you find yourself saying"oh ,THATS whats going on here"sometimes a midlife crisis is just a midlife crisis,but here it turns into something else.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this movie, but I completely loved it! The plot was fantastic and kept me engaged throughout the entire movie. I do not have kids, however I spoke with my mom (who I also told to watch the movie) and she thinks the movie does an excellent job of portraying mom-life and things they deal with that are still taboo in our culture.

Why did it take so long for a real movie about real life to come out?! :) I was able to identify with nearly everything in this movie, and appreciated how well every actor portrayed their part and made me feel like I was apart of the family. Ladies a MUST see, and men give it a chance, you won't be disappointed! LOVED LOVED LOVED this movie : )))))

This movie portrays all the exhaustion a mother experiences in having a child when there are already two. Somehow mom finds that inner strength to do what needs to be done. Your job as the viewer is to figure out how she does it. Charlize Theron is terrific, completely believable in a situation where you don't know quite what to believe.

Very good film. Charlize shines as always and the chemistry between her and "Tully" is really good. It is definitely something good to watch.
