Difficult

Had to call support 3 times for assistance. My taxes are quite basic and it still took over 2 hours for me to just complete the federal. System did not even ask about 3 deductions I knew I had. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Not usable for my needs

The date slipped three times and, when it was finally released, it didn’t work properly. I finally decided to eat the cost and go with H&R Block this year.

So my most recent purchase from you is sitting in Indiana while I’m in Texas. Not great

But sometimes updates need to be applied and downloaded if it's still in January or February due to some changes. If it's in March or April, normally the software seems to stabilize, no more updates for me. I normally file my return around March or April anyway, rarely in February so it's not an issue for me.

Okay, But Sometimes Quirky

Of course, the shelf price was higher than the online price, but they honored their own on-line price ($49.40). Stupid Item # 1 The license code includes two dashes, but the application does not allow dashes. Dumber than dump. Good item # 1 Easier set up: it found previous Turbo Tax apps from prior years even though I loaded the data to a new PC. Bottom Line: It is helpful, but I think it should be 1/2 the price.

Best Buy has 2 Year Old Turbo Tax on the Shelf

It was for the year 2018 taxes. This is not last year but the prior year. No one is doing 2018 taxes in 2020. The only way to verify the year is on the side of the package. The front is exactly the same. Cannot return it via mail, but need to go to the store, which is over 50 miles from my house. Love TurboTax but not the method of purchase.
