Fun story about growing up as a teenager with a twist and integrated culture and legend

It gets old when there’s a vocal minority of people who now obsess with trying to ruin everything they think they can make money off of trying to obsess about being “too woke” or whatever imaginary slight they feel from coverage or Facebook posts for movies that some never would have watched in first place. This felt like a step forward for Pixar and it was beautiful, enjoyable, funny and sweet.

One of Pixar's films that needed to be released in theaters. The scope and feeling of being a (girl) tween to teen in the nineties. Elements of Encanto seem to have been pulled from this, though both are good films. This one takes a lot of draw from anime and just being a more outspoken character. Certainly there are parallels to the time when folks go through the change but they are subtle in a sensitive enough way to open discussion it was an auto-buy once on sale.

While there was the "outrage" over a specific coming of age item that many people felt was the "red" in "Turning Red", this coming of age follows something a little bit out of the ordinary that's kinda specific to this family, kinda like the certain traditions of a certain family in Encanto. As someone who has watched too many movies, this did get rather predictable, including the "unexpected twists" that were telegraphed via other mechanisms. My family enjoyed it.

One of my new favorites. Great music fun laughs galore. Reminds me of our daughter at thirteen and her daughter who turns thirteen this June. Yes I’m giving her a copy for her birthday.Paw paw said yes to the gift before I could. Very suitable.

I am such a kid when it comes to animation and I loved this movie. Knowing about your past and how it forms who you are is important but it is also important to know the you now. Great story.

Cool addition to the Pixar animated line of movies. Definitely a twist to some of their other story lines, but, very enjoyable to watch. Also, a little bit education is in part of the story. Good for kids.

This movie was very cute. I dont think its for younger kids because they wouldnt know certain subjects in it. Also the pandas may scare them as well. Use caution with younger kids. Other than that great movie.

My son loves this movie! It is funny, and he sings the songs all the time. My husband and I enjoyed it too. It is very much about teen girls, but I think most younger boys will still enjoy all the humor.

It was a very cute movie. Heard other people saying it was inappropriate for kids talking about periods. But it was tasteful and it was barely there. My 7 year old loves the movie

What i liked about this item is that it came in a red case which was cool because the movie has to do with a red panda so i think the red case was a good theme.

I bought this for my Daughter for Christmas. She was surprised when she opened it. We still need to watch it. Hoping it’s great like other Pixar films.

We have this movie on our Disney subscription but having it available to view on the DVD player in the car helps keep our little one entertained

My 4 yr old daughter loves this movie I was in the store looking for a Tv and she spotted this dvd at first I said no and then I said anything to keep her quite at home

While it was a mother and daughter story, the boyband stole the show with its early 2000 pop songs penned by Finneas and Billie!

Fun family film about growing up that could be better but the animation on Blu-ray looks really good and it worth picking up at some point

My goddaughter really loves this movie. She likes to rewind the singing part over and over. The movie will teach everyone something.

Turning Red dvd is my wife’s favorite to watch all the time especially when she’s off from work, very entertaining movie.
