I just bought this headset yesterday and I love it. First lets talk about it's versatility. This headset is compatible with PS3, Xbox 360, Pc, and any mobile device. So you can use it on just about anything that supports a headset. Audio: Awesome audio quality. This headset has amazing audio. Sounds great when listening to music and playing games. I have even heard things that I had not heard before. The headset comes with an inline audio controller. You can control the sound of chat, game,bass, and treble. Again, complete versatility. Microphone: The mic is really good. That's about it. It also has this feature that enables you to hear your own voice so that way you don't talk to loud. Very nice and helpful feature. Comfort: The last but not least notable feature about this headset is it's comfort. It is light weight and fits perfectly. After a while I even forget that I am wearing anything on my head. If you are looking for a great headset that won't break the bank, look no further. Go and buy this right now.

I bought these headphones less then a year ago and they completely died and stopped working. I used at max twice a month only and took very good care of them. Just be aware they do not last if you purchase them.

Between my son and I, we have had several headsets. I have used my set px22 for couple of years, they feel great, sound great. I did have to buy the turtle beach digital sound amp for my ps4 for maximum output, which still is cheaper than other headsets. I like a cord so no batteries to charge or replace. The others my son has tried even with a cord still takes disposable batteries, still not as loud. I'm gonna buy another pair just in case I sit on mine like my son did his lol.

They may be expensive but buy astro a40's are the best you can buy for hardcore and competitive gamers. These just can't handle the detailed sound due to the lack of Dolby digital.

I've never owned a set of Turtle Beach headsets before and the main reason I purchased this set was because of the universal use. Once I plugged these in and played a round of TDM in Black ops 2 I was blown away! These headsets are lightweight and the sound is amazing. I have a wireless PlayStation headset and have also owned a set of TRITTONs in the past and the PX22's are by far the best I've ever owned. The only knock on the PX22's is the cables, but I knew what I was getting into with it being a wired headset. Overall, the sound quality, price, fit, and universal functionality make the PX22's the best gaming accessory I've ever purchased.

Get the PS4 gold headset if you're in this price area, otherwise spend the extra money and get an Astro. Don't waste your money on this.

I own 3 gaming pcs and a ps4. I bought two of these px22s. Works well for PC. It would not be my first choice for the ps4. Overall good price with gamers club sale.

This is a very good head set, though if you are going to use them as headphones I would not suggest using them on phone. They sound like they are breaking up if the phone is moving. But if you are going to use them for gaming, I think they are awesome. Incredible sound, the mike is great because you can twist it to fit your head\face and the head phone parts are able to twist although it has a lot of cord to connect to console to the headset I think it is totally worth it. But be aware this only is compatible with the ps3 ps4 Xbox360 phone and computer but this review is only for ps3 and phone. :)

I've had the headset for half a year now and it exceeds my expectations. Was hesitant about purchasing this because of mixed reviews, but I bit the bullet. Glad I bought it. Sound quality is great, fits great, and no longer gets silent and hard to hear at quite parts of gaming and movie watching after finally setting it up correctly. Bass and Treble customization is awesome!

We bought these for our son for computer gaming. We were looking at other Turtle Beach models carried by Walmart when I happened to check BestBuy.com and saw these. Best of all, they were on sale for $45. One of their better models for that price...couldn't pass it up. When we got to the store, their shelf price was still regular price, but they were willing to match their own online price, which I didn't expect. Our son likes them. They have an in-line control module that allows you to control the overall volume, in-game chat volume, and the volume of your own voice as heard through the headset, all independently of one another. The mic is also built in such a way to make it very adjustable and rotates vertically out of the way when not in use. The volume module is powered via USB by the computer, but is removable to be able to use the headset as regular headphones with a device that doesn't have USB. The biggest problem we've found with these is that the headset is never detected by the computer when first plugged in. We have to unplug the USB cord and plug it back in multiple times to get this headset to be detected. The laptop is new, only a couple months old, so it seems like an issue with the headset. It's something I need to look into more, but so far our son seems happy with them. As far as I know, sound is clear on his end and his voice transmits clear when talking to others.

the PX22 is an excellent piece of hardware. This product delivers crystal clear sound and a perfect stereo experience. It is great because you can use on your PS3 or Xbox 360. You can also plug into your phone which can make a big impact in gaming because you never have to leave the controller. I give this product a perfect 5/5.

I LOVE THIS THING! The comfort is awesome for long gaming sessions with my friends, has great sound quality, awesome mic, and very easy to hook up. The compatibility is great to so i can have it hooked up to my xbox and pc at the same time. If your on kind of a budget this thing is the right thing for you, or at least it worked for me! I hope you enjoy it!

So frustrating! I picked these up because I have all the game systems and this seemed perfect. Except I've had to buy an adapter for the Xbox one, the Xbox 360 and now I see that I may have to buy one for the ps4. Yes, you can plug the headset directly into the ps4 controller, but you can't use the amplifier with the controls and without it there is no volume control for the mic or ears. It's really hard to listen to. Each adapter is $25 and the numbers of wires and complicated wiring schematic is not worth it for me. Wish I could bring these back. On the plus side, they do sound clear when I have gotten them hooked up.

great price for what it does. i bought it because it can be used for pc and video game consoles, cell phone, ipod etc which is great because it does not limit you to one device. great product, i wear them all day long

This headset is amazing! I was using the original that came with my PS4 until visiting my friend who had a $200 dollar set and was like WHOA I need a headset for sure. Now I really didnt want to spend that much though so I found this one and wow it sounds so much cleaner and better than the 200 dollar set he has! From the custom bass control to being able to hook your phone up to it while playing games and just that you can use it for just about anything from your tablet to your computer to your TV its a GREAT BUY!

I wanted a good headset for my PlayStation 4 without costing me an arm and a leg. I was not disappointed with the Ear Force PX22. It worked right out of the box and it sounds amazing, I didnt have to adjust anything. Its great for First Person Shooters where you can hear every bullet, every step and every reload that goes on around you. Great balance of in-game audio and audio chat. You'll never miss a word your friends are saying even though there is tons going on in the game. A MUST HAVE for anyone looking to spend their money on a good headset.

This headset is awesome and has awesome sound quality! As well as its universal, which is great for me because I play Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and it even works for my phone! I definitely recommend this headset for any gamer. (And it's so cheap for its value, versatility, and features!)
