A solid budget headset when you absolutely need a headset. Good sound and voice quality, light weight, but the head band could be built a bit stronger as i am always afraid Im going to break it.

My 12 year old uses this. He "downgraded" to this one after breaking the headband on his last one, He's saying it's as comfortable and sounds great. He wears this more than I would like, but he doesn't complain. The mic is removable which is a bonus as I have an external mic for him.

Good quality even if it's refurbished. Good fit along the ears and the wire doesn't get in the way. Only thing is the sound quality isn't high quality but that's fine, I can still hear.

I bought these for my 10 year old. I haven’t used them myself but he plays Fortnite with his friends from school and they seem to work great. I can see him talking while he’s playing and even in the heat of battle the mic seems to work loud and clear and the headphones stay on his head nice and secure. If I were playing I would try this same set.

I got these because they were the least expensive for compatability of all the systems and among the brands that are at the top of their game. I question whether they hurt my head but not sure because I do have a health condition that does not do well with pressure, nerves, temperature and restrictiveness. I do use these and I think the sound quality both to listen to and for others to hear me are both great. I use them for streaming on my Twitch Channel. I was getting lots of feedback that the Xbox Kinect wasn't providing a great sound experience but the PS4 Pro does. I use this headset for both consoles. I chose these over the Turtle Beach Battle Buds originally because this had a foam cover over the mic but I do own both now and even though I like the Battle Buds earbud style, I think the mic sound for the 50x is better. I also accidentally dipped the foam in pudding so I contacted Turtle Beach on cleaning suggestions. They told me OxyClean MaxPro so I just did that yesterday and the foam does come of the mic. Fingers crossed it worked and helped. That's what I get for eating during my Twitch streams.

The sound quality is pretty good, the microphone is detachable for when you're not needing that functionality. There's an inline mute and volume control which is convenient. Overall I can't complain much about the headset it's great for the price. The only negative I have found after about a month and a couple hours a day everyday use is that the headset can tend cause some soreness around your ears where the padding is.

Love the style of this recon 50X headset. sound quality could always be better, but for the most part you can successfully navigate the surroundings of any game. Wish the headset wasn't made out of plastic but unfortunately they all are :/ All in all the quality is equivalent to the purchasing price. comfortable fit around the ears and background noise is silenced :) would recommend these to any start up gamer.

Honestly for a set of gaming headphones that are only $27 with tax they are actually very good. I've had some good headphones most of them don't ever hold up. But these actually hold up pretty well the sound is very clear and crisp!!! I play a lot of Halo infinite and you could clearly hear footsteps of other players the gunfire is at an excellent rate and over all the headphones are pretty loud. For a first-timer or someone that just is looking for a bang for the buck these are the headphones to go with. The only issue is the microphone headset when you move it a lot since it's a bendable material it kind of Falls after a while but doesn't cause any issue to the actual microphone itself overall good headset. But buyer beware if buying it for a young child under the age of 14 they can break easily but if your kid or an adult takes care of them they'll last for a good amount of time

What happens when you have an early bird husband that likes to watch movies on the Xbox early in the morning when the wife's asleep, and a night owl wife that likes to work out her aggression playing Assassin's Creed when the hubby's in bed? You invest in a good pair of headphones so the noise doesn't reverb straight through the paper-thin walls, and everybody's happy! Comfy, good sound, two very happy campers.

Got the 50p and 50x for both my kids. For $25, they sound great, and they can use them with all their consoles and iPads. They aren't super loud, which is great because I don't have to worry about their volume levels as much.
