There's no volume to these at all. I bought them because I was tired of replacing the cheesy MS headsets and I wanted over the ear, without the little wedge that plugs into the controller. When I tried them out, I could just barely hear the game audio and voice chat was so faint it couldn't be made out. Tried using the inline volume control, and even tried updating the controller. The boom mic seems to be the only thing that does work as my friends could hear me even if I couldn't hear them.

I checked out a few reviews and decided to buy this because it was a Turtle Beach product ( and those had good reviews). It worked great ..for a while. Of course it completely died about 2 and half months after I bought it . I was horribly disappointed with this . The next headset I get will NOT Turtle Beach!

Dont be fooled by this popular franchise. The left headphone went iut almost immediately whe. I got them, some shortsge in the volune module. Best buy quality is going down the drain watch what you purchace.

Only thing is, theres only one volume control that works both chat and in-game volume. Can be a bit annoying at times but otherwise, love them.
