These were cheap and they do work but did not meet my needs.

I'd get it working by moving the mic. Go back to what I was doing then "Daaaad!". Returned for another set, mic never worked. Updated controllers and all. Just doesn't seem to work w/ 3.5mm, the box says it does. I beg to differ. You can say "hey Cortana" it Cortana responds with "sorry I couldn't hear you". Then how did you know to respond? Don't buy unless you have nothing better to do than run back and forth to mess with this trash. Needless to say, I returned the second set also.
