With the MadCatz Xbox adapter it was very easy to use. You need the adapter if you HDMI.

very good headset, works well, easy to set up and all in all could not ask for more

Now don't get me wrong, this is a GREAT headset. However, not the best around. I bought these in February, and they work great. I am debating on switching to the Astro A40s only because I need a headset for the PS4. The bad thing about it is the band quality.

I was so happy with these until they started popping and crackling after 4 months of use. Best Buy won't help because I didn't buy their extended warranty and Turtle Beach only has a 90 day warranty because they know their product will fail. Best Buy should pull any product from the shelves that manufacturers won't stand behind for at least 1 year. My 12 year old son saved $50 of his allowance and Xmas money to pay for these. What a huge disappointment.

No need to waste money on the wireless version. The cord is extremely long.

While the headset worked well for a year, All turtle beach products end up in the trash after 1 years use. This is my 3rd and final headset from turtlebeach, The x12's cheap plastic snapped and the headphone dangled off, rendering it useless. If you want to buy a new headset every year then go ahead with this cheap plastic design. I'll spend the extra few bucks for something i can have for years to come.

I have had these headphones for about six months. I have a lot of static and it comes through the microphone. Others complain about the static on my mic.

I just bought it and I loved them then about two weeks later the microphone broke and even later the entire ear cup w/ the microphone on it broke off.

I had these for all but 15 min. The Mic did not work, DOA. I tried three different constollers and still nada on the mic. Extreamly disapointed in TB. I heard so much hype about these and was excited to give them a try. Will not give then a second chance, going for a different manufacturer. Be warned people, TB will leave you stranded.

I bought these and got them all the way home (96 miles to the closest Best Buy) and when I tried to use them with my X-Box I found out that I needed an extra connection to use the set. I returned them and bought a pair that had everything needed in the box.

Ok so I didn't buy the most expensive Turtle Beach headphones but I did expect them to last longer than 3 months!!!! The microphone no longer works and I can't hear out of the left side. My neighbor bought her son the $80 ones and he is having the same issue.

A little more expensive that I expected. Could cost a lot less.

My son purchased this for his X-Box. The other kids he plays with via x-box live are saying that there's an echo. We received a new cord to connect to the controller, but it's still not working. Turtle Beach thought that was the problem, but apparently not.

I have had this microphone for less than a week, and the microphone is already broken. I did not damage it in anyway. The microphone produces a static sound when used. It is EXTREMELY annoying and makes it impossible to talk on Xbox Live.

Bought this and had to return it twice because of a hissing noise during chat in or out of the game (MW3). Adjusted everything and looked everywhere online to try and fix it - nothing. I read more positive reviews with the newer slim xboxes, but it was terrible and not worth the price. Going with a wireless to see if that helps

The earphones did not work and had to return it. There was no sound. This was a Xmas present for my son. He spent the money on something else elsewhere.

The headset lasted 3 weeks then broke. Exchanged it then broke again. Get the x32 Turtle Beach.
