The Turtle Beach Ear Force Headset Audio Controller Plus for Xbox one let's my grandson control the the sound on his headset. He can mute it when he wants to make sure no one else hears what's being heard in the background.

Not the best option for headset but it works, sound and communication a must when playing online. Decent for the work.

At start up, I can’t hear anything... I have to keep hitting the two button buttons for the unit to start working. Besides that, it sounds better than the official xbox kit.

It's a pretty good product but I bought it for my X/S and all the features didn't work. I ended up returning it but I'm sure I'd give it five stars if I still used my One.

I purchased this item to connect to my sons Xbox One controller as the sound input on the controller stopped working with his headset. This product solves that issue and it makes controlling the sound balance between chat and game sound much easier. However, it requires an update to use and the update process is semi confusing. It took me three tries doing the exact same thing to get this to work. I’m still not sure how it finally started working. I have the official Xbox audio controller and it is plug and play, no update needed. Since the two are the same price, I would recommend the Xbox one over the Turtle Beach version.

The headset I bought worked with the new controller for about a week and then it stopped working. I read some reviews for this product and decided to try it out. The headset we have works with this product. I am happy with the purchase.

My girlfriend wanted the mouse but the turtle Beach attachment was for my game, and it works perfectly,and the game was for my son, and he definitely loves that games so yes,it was all worth it and thank u for helping me out, greatly appreciated...

I have 6 controllers with all of their headset jacks not working and all I have to do is plug this in and boom, I can use that remote to talk online now. One of the most helpful purchases I have made yet!

My teenage son loves this accessory and considers it a necessity. When his 2-year-old one broke, I was forced to shell out $40 for this, and about 4 days after the return period ended, it suddenly let out an ear-piercing screech when he unmuted himself. Needless to say, I had to replace the darn thing again, and though I submitted a request for support to Turtle Beach on July 9, I have not gotten anything but their automated reply saying they’ll contact me within 3 days. (It has now been 10 days.) I would otherwise rate this item a 5 based on my son’s opinion of its normally-functioning features.

All you need for direct hearing modifications! Change anything up to a second

Has issues with sound boost. Some of the modifiers are awful and completely useless. Price point is high given the mediocre functionality

Bought this to use with my yeti mic. Works decently. The mic can be fickle at times and not sure if it’s entirely how I have it set up or what but overall I think this works well and it’s great with headsets.

I bought this because I own: Turtle Beach Ear Force X42 for XBOX360 I thought: I can spend a bit more for new XBoX one headset OR BUY THIS adapter. Xbox 369 uses 2.5mm connectors, Xbox one uses 3.5mm connectors. So...you have to also buy the PS4 speaker (yes, PS4) connector wire from turtle beach...which has the 3.5mm male to 2.5mm female to get headphone connected to this control adapter. Very frustrating and it’s still not working right...hence title. I would recommend doing research on these headphones. Only reason I am recommending this is because if you are buying turtle beach headset, you HAVE to get this adapter.

Bought it so i would be able to use both my headset and microphone since the mic was usb

My daughter has the older controller and needed this adapter so that she could communicate online with the other people in the house without screaming into the next room announcing where they were dropping when they’d play Fortnite.

We had trouble with the audio going out using the regular headphone connections On several Xbox remotes. This product fixed our issues and the gaming experience a lot better.

This little thing is sweet of u have gaming headphones it transforms the into amazing surrounded sound that five u 4 sound style pluseba mode that make u hear like every little thing

I bought it for my son. He had a few headphones that kept losing sound and the Xbox stop recognizing them. I tried different headphone brands but still This solved the problem with all of the headphones he has.

Tried to use on an older model of Xbox One, just keeps turning my system off after I updated the device. It works fine on a newer version.
