    So far this adapter works great for me. I have a hyper x cloud alpha gaming headset and I bought this for the mic monitoring feature exclusively. The sound quality is much better going through this adapter vs directly through the controller. Overall very happy with this purchase.

    It has its own little enhancers for sound already built in. It has super noise mode to let you hear very low noises
