||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not only did this product fail to do what it claims it can (provide extra, better sound quality via the Xbox line of controllers), but it's also false advertised. The adapter doesn't fit the Xbox Series X|S controllers, and you'll find so once you try to plug it in. Once it's in, it's very hard to remove. I was fortunate enough not to break my controller. All-in-all, a huge hunk of garbage. Save your money, and just use the 3.5mm jack already in the controller.

The Headset Audio Controller should have no issue connecting directly to an official Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S controller from Microsoft. If you're using a third party controller of some sort, we'd be unable to guarantee compatibility with that.

Buzzing sound

Xsx controller that came with xsx, new separate xbox controller, 1.5yr xbox elite series 2 controller, new x.e.s. 2 controller. All controllers used made a buzzing sound with adapter being used. I tried audio all settings but none seemed to fix.

Heard nothing but static. Save your money & use it to invest in wireless.

It stopped working after a couple of weeks. I called turtle beach they sent me a new one withen a couple of weeks same thing stopped working.
