Can mute, turn up game volume, turn up voice volume and boost overall sound. Great addition for multiplayer gaming with friends.

If you have an older controller or something is loose in your controllers 3.5 mm port then this is a great adapter. I love having the volume controls right there with me and while the “super sound” boost is ok it doesn’t make a real difference for me.

Fast and easy to use works on my scuff controller as well and gives immediate access to my mic settings

This headset adapter does its job - allows you to use headsets with the RCA connector. However, it adds some cool features with the multiple volume control options and the sound enhancement button works pretty well too. I have this paired with a Turtle Beach Recon headset.

This product is exactly what we needed for the headset to be used properly with an Xbox One S . It's a little sad that it isn't included with the headset, or that you don't know you need this item when you purchase a headset (for us parents who aren't totally in the know).

This is an amazing product. The sound enhancer is amazing and works fantastic in Warzone. I could hear boxes way before anyone in the party and could call out footsteps way before them. This product definitely gives you a step up over the other players

OH man this is a total game changer when using stock or person headphones! The turtle beach sound booster makes every foot step and movement so much louder that you could have the jump on your enemies every time! Love this product!

Solid purchase and is long lasting. I got this in 2018 and it still works perfectly. It works better than just using the 3.5mm jack in the new controllers. Better way to crossfade between party chat and game sound. Would recommend regardless of the controller.

Works great, much better than just using the onboard plug in the controller. Great sound quality and you can control chat and game from the adapter instead of having to go into setting on the console.

Works really well for online multiplayer where you need to parse out voice vs game audio. Wish they made an equivalent for wireless headsets. It works with any headset that uses a 3.5mm jack, by the way.

Love this device although I hate that xbox had to add a accessory to make money and they over the headphones with this for $10 more so for price wise not sure it's worth it when you can buy the Xbox one for $10 more.

I’m upgrading from the original Microsoft adapter. Wow what a huge difference in audio levels. Louder and clearer. The mic and game presets are awesome. Superhuman hearing also a huge helps. Sounds great with my astro a40s.

Buying this was the only way to use my Turtle beach headphones with my Xbox one controller it works very well for what I needed. A little expensive for something was needed to even use TB headphones. So be prepared to buy this and headphones.

My biggest gripe with Xbox controllers that have the headphone jack is that they’re notorious for breaking down—I’ve gone through two controller myself and a simple google search reveals that this is a widespread QA issue. The turtle beach adapter negates this issue by utilizing the port on the controller rather than the jack. The result is consistent audio with less “crackling” sound then experienced using the native controller input and a guarantee that the jack will not fail. I don’t bother with any of the DSP as I prefer the audio to play as intended without any fluff. TBH, it’s pretty pathetic that I have to purchase such a thing so to the inevitable failing of Microsoft’s controller, but it’s a necessary evil that has alleviated my audio problems and need to purchase new controllers.

Great product with no problems so far.Maje sure look on YouTube for proper installing.I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to put the attachment on so I needed a YouTube tutorial till lining up correctly. After I saw it ..it went on no problem

Love being able to control the game/chat volume from the controller. You can turn the game up when you really need to hear those footsteps (which the sound boost really helps with), or turn the chat up when you’re just messing around with your friends.
